Wonderful

Loved the cleanliness of the room and restaurant. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Loved having the restaurant and a gift shop in the same building. I would suggest a grab bar outside the shower/tub and availability of ice on the floor.
This place was a phenomenal stay, we truly felt at home even away from home. Everyone was so kind, pleasant and friendly! The room was beautiful and so easy to navigate, we absolutely loved our stay! The pricing is very affordable, as well as a beautiful room! We are beyond grateful and thankful to have such beautiful and amazing stay here!
Highly recommended!
At 1st glance, the building looks like an industrial warehouse, but don't let that fool you! The place was spotless, very comfortable, and the room was quite spacious. However, for us the highlight was the exceptional staff. We had a flat tire and the staff pitched in to get us the assistance we need to have the tire repaired which is way above what we expected.
We highly recommend this property if you're staying on Deer Island, NB.
This property was conveniently located 5 min away from the Deer Island ferry. Facilities were spotless. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Everything appeared brand new and of good quality. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were luxurious. Conveniently located to 2 of Deer Islands restaurants and Bellas general store. Excellent experience and highly recommended.
Immaculate , seemingly brand new lodging , very comfortable with an independent , cheerful vibe that might not be evident from the wooded and very simple exterior . Spacious and reasonably priced , a very positive stay . Attached restaurant downstairs serves delicious and well prepared breakfast and a killer Caesar
The facility is brand new and the room I was very nicely decorated. Everything was sparking clean.
It is also very quiet; so I had overall a very comfortable and relaxing stay.
Although there is no reception, the management was readily available by messaging and extremely responsive.
Make sure you receive your room number and PIN needed to enter. In my case I didn't because of an email glitch (nothing to do with the property).
Lovely little suite. Interesting property that looked pretty plain on the outside, but suprisingly had a cool gift store and a delicious restaurant all contained.
The decor had a pleasant East Coast flair (we loved the Lobster Trap Chairs) and the washroom was very roomy, well stocked and clean
Keyless self-checkin was easy and the property was easy to find in this quaint fishing village.
We booked and enjoyed a great Whale Watch tour with Ocean Safaris only 4 minutes away.
We will visit this area again and will definitely stay at the Homeport
Great boutique hotel with all the coastal vibes! Just upstairs form the Capsill resturant and a short drive from the Deer Island ferry terminal. Brand new and well decorated. Very comfy bed and pillows
Amazing place to stay in Deer Island, this was an overnight stay in our way to St. Andrew’s by the Sea. The hotel looks very simple from the outside; However, the rooms are spacious, very new or recently renovated and super clean. Very quiet and the best is the Ferry access running often from early morning to nights.
Not many food options other than the hotel restaurant.
I booked this hotel not knowing I had to take a ferry onto the island it sits. This was very easy cheesy to do at 9:30 at night. We drove to our hotel upon arriving the owner, contacted me by phone to make sure everything was all good. Excellent service the place was beautiful.
Room was nice and clean. It was very quaint and charming on deer island which we had to take a free 20 min ferry to get to from L’Etete. Restaurant on the ground floor called Cap Sill had great lobster. The island is very picturesque and we even saw 2 deers during our walk. I’d recommend it.
Amazing facility with charming, authentic nautical decor including lobster pot chairs and knot art in the passageway. Attached restaurant and affiliated convenience store and Boatique. I look forward to my return.

Maybe not for older travelers
Only issue was having to climb outside wooden steps to get to the rooms. Quite a challenge for older customers with heavy bags.
Also, room was reserved for 2 people but they were stingy with towels - only one bath towel, one hand towel, & one wash cloth
We were under the impression that the property was near the water. It’s in a parking lot above a restaurant. From the outside it is not appealing. It’s keyless entry so you do not s
