“Great food and accommodation”

“Great little find here! Lovely pub with great atmosphere, food fab with onsite restaurant. The room was really well presented and lovely decor. My room was facing south and west on the hottest day of the year, thankfully the staff provided a fan and there was a well stocked fridge in the room too. Breakfast was continental style in the room in a lovely hamper, plus yogurts, milk and orange juice in the fridge. Would go back again when in the area. Thanks team.”

“The beautiful setting and views of the river Severn were wonderful. The staff were always extremely helpful and welcoming. The bedroom was very comfortable and clean. The breakfasts and evening meals were of very good quality. It was our first visit to Shropshire and we would certainly come back to the Riverside Inn which was perfectly situated for day trips to Shrewsbury, Ironbridge and David Austin Roses, among other places.”

“Room - clean & spacious. Amenities such as shower gel, shampoo & hand wash provided. Tea/coffee just for 1 day provided. Toilet had mould inside it - needs a good bleaching & sink was blocked - need to put unblock soda in. The bathroom door paint peeling from the bottom - doesn't make the room look well maintained. No fridge. It's very hot so in my opinion a bucket of ice should be auto provided/asked upon check in which would have solved the no fridge situation. It was very busy at the bar so...

“Very good dinner menu with excellent staff. Breakfast offering was not so great. Bedroom (45) was poorly situated above the kitchen extractor and, whilst spotlessly clean, had a intercommunicating door which offered little noise insulation. The bathroom was stark, even by Premier Inn standards, and the offering of gels and soaps was poor. Hotel is in a lovely setting overlooking Dale End Park and the river beyond.”
