We really enjoyed our quick stay in Lone Pine before heading into Death Valley National Park. Our room was nice and clean and the beds were comfortable.
The Trails Motel is the perfect place to stay in Lone Pine. If you are here for the mountain, or just passing through, the Trails Motel is the perfect place to stay.
Clean room, colorful sheets on the beds, quiet room, great location near some good restaurants and Alabama Hils exploration. Helpful staff.
One minor recommendation... get a better quality soap. The soap bars you have are the hardest and least sudsey I've ever used:-)
This motel has become my go-to stopover whenever I'm driving Hwy 395. Well maintained building and grounds, remodeled rooms, clean and comfortable, and walkable to restaurants.
I stayed on December 9th. Heater worked great, parking right in front of the room, room was clean and fresh at check-in. Microwave, larger minifridge and shower was hot and clean with a full size tube for after hiking soak. Great base camp for exploring Mt. Whitney.

Completely up dated motel. Fresh paint, new appliances, mattresses and all linens except towels appear new. Great restaurants nearby
