Well located hotel in historic building. Room included cooking facilities which was an added bonus. The room could have used some small repairs as there was damage to the kitchen and utensils. The room was quiet despite being near a busy road.

Perfect place to stay to visit film maker son in Bethnal Green. We were able to walk to tube easily. Easy walk to Gabrielle Waterhouse's 9 course meal at Waterhouse Project. Great breakfast spot nearby for liver breakfast and good coffee. Staff helpful and kind. We loved the spot and would stay again. Great bath & shower. Lovely kitchen. Easy walk to the Sunday flower market which is a must.

Very unique decor lovely christmas decorations. Service was brillant and the apartment was absolutely stunning and modern! Only down fall is that the hotel is surrounded by a huge estate and there was lots of noise around that, and then fire alarm went off once but no event of fire? Overall the facility is amazing! location is a 5 minute walk from tube station

The hotel was recommended from friends. The area is obviously up and coming. The room was big and with high ceilings which nice but the bathroom was disappointing. It looked tired with peeling paint and poor shower pressure and a tired bath.

Lovely building but accommodation is not up to a premium standard. Heating very high 25 degrees and difficult to adjust, basic items like bed side table absent, kitchen not equipped well, bathroom a little grotty. Good selection of toiletries but it’d take useful bedside tables over a free moisturiser!

The hotel is beautiful and I like that it has original details and furnishings, not cookie cutter modern furniture. I would defiintely stay again and recommend it, but at first glance in the rain, the view across the street leaves a bit to be desired. I didn't eat in the hotel, but since I had a suite that was extremely well equipped it mitigated the need for it. The fitness centre and swimming pool were great but it would be nice if there were an outdoor space. It was convenient for many great restaurants and shops by walking, bus or underground even though the immediate area is short on those..Brick Lane, Columbia Road and Roman Road were walkable if you like to explore the area, and short bus rides if that is too much.

The stay in the average and expensive class hotel was generally ok The service required for completing the missing to the room was prompt The requested quiet room was not available which resulted in moving rooms altogether The request for late check out was declined

A reasonable stay

There is no parking or offloading at the Hotel. The main entrance was locked as the hotel had rented out the entrance area for a music video. The breakfast was not very good for the £18 pp charged and only one selection from the menu allowed. The full English was like a children's meal!! Filter coffee was disgusting!! Our room was not cleaned after the 2nd night of our 3 night stay. Coffee and tea was in the room but no milk! So we had to ask for milk at reception. The hotel and room was fantastic and full of character once you got in !

The room was full of mould and was in disrepair. We paid £400 for a 5 star suite but the room was in a state and have stayed in cleaner in 2 star hotel. Really disappointed. We parked in free parking opposite the hotel and upon leaving got attacked by a resident who damaged our car. Apparently furious we had been staying at the hotel. We emailed the hotel and asked for a refund but they ignore us. I can provide photos of the mould and dilapidated room.

The area was so very scary from dusk on! I found out the area is called CRACK-NIE! There was a fight in the street, I just about fell over trying to walk IN front of the hotel, due to the terrible sidewalk. The cleanliness of the area was very lacking for the price they were charging. We called down to the front desk to ask for a bucket of Ice. I guess this was a request that was entirely too complicated for the hotel. We received 2 ice buckets but no Ice in them. One hour later they told us to go to the store and get some if we wanted some. We went down to have a breakfast...They served us some coffee and 35 minutes later I left 5pounds on the table and we left. No-one came to take our order or even refill our cups. When we were leaving the restaurant they were not even apologetic for their lack of service. The restaurant only sat 20 people at most! There were 4 servers there and a hostess. The room was unique and always clean. I give them that. The furniture was so very small I felt like I was sitting on a couch in a Childs room. I try to find the good in everything but this location was very lacking in the basics of hoteling.

Lovely facility. Good food. If you want to stay in Bethnal Green then I highly recommend Town Hall Hotel. Have coffee at Pavilion in Victoria Park and go for a walk along Regent Canal.
