This will always be my favourite hotel when I stay in Richmond. The location is great, it's clean and comfortable and the standard has never slipped in all the years I have stayed here. The staff are the nicest and always willing to accommodate your needs wherever possible. I will be back!

The Selwyn is such an excellent hotel. It’s beautiful and quiet, despite the planes overhead. The bed was comfortable, the shower/tub was wonderful. I loved always having bottled water in the room. The breakfast always surprises me. Both continental and a menu you can order from. The staff is beyond compare. They’re so friendly and willing to make you as comfortable as can be. It’s nice to be so close to the Tube. I’ll definitely be back again.

Rooms are small for an American (no bathroom counter at all, no desk) but extremely comfortable bed and nice shower. Location was in a quiet, residential area but close to everything. Nice staff. Didn't try the breakfast.

The Selwyn is a lovely boutique hotel close to everything Richmond has to offer. The staff were attentive, the room was lovely, the proximity to shops, the river, and gardens was excellent. I will stay again next time I’m in Richmond.

I cannot say enough about the desk staff at the Selwyn. We arrived bedraggled and exhausted and they helped us settle in, responded to every request with smiles and helpful suggestions, and were just wonderful. Thank you. The room was clean, beautiful, and very cozy (small), but very nicely laid out and had everything we needed. Thank you all for going the extra mile to help these tired Yanks. ❤️

Had a lovely stay while visiting Richmond and Wimbledon, staff friendly and super helpful. Only minor thing were the rooms were small however that is probably because of the period property. We would definitely stay again.

Hotel was immaculate and staff were really helpful. I'd recommend getting one of the bigger rooms if there are 2 of you, as the cabin rooms are on the small side for 2 people, but everything else was great, bed and pillows were really comfortable so we had a good night's sleep, we would definitely return.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Kelly the manager looked after us when we had a change our reservation for personal reasons. We were very grateful. The room was beautiful and maintained to a very high level. Would highly recommend and we will definitely return.
