We loved the location on the Island, so close to Notre Dame with walking access to both the left bank and the Champs Elysees area. As well, we appreciated the up to date rooms and the breakfast (extra cost) was also very good. The 24 hour concierge service was well appreciated and the hotel chain has its own taxi service with courteous drivers.

We spent three of our four nights at the Rembrandt without our luggage because of a major luggage screw up at the British Airways terminal at Heathrow. Stuff at the Rembrandt could not have been more concerned or more helpful, particularly guys at the concierge desk. Our room was comfortable. Included breakfast was excellent. The bar was great with bar staff who know how to make a mean cocktail. Cabs were hailed with aplomb. A connected spa was excellent, certainly worth the extra daily charge to use it.
