Staff was phenomenal. Area was ideal. The hotel is making upgrades and they have not gotten beyond the 3rd floor yet. If you can stay on a lower floor, do so.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Queen’s Gate Hotel. The staff was very friendly, we could walk to lots of great places (Hyde Park is a couple blocks away), and a few fun pubs are close. We will definitely stay there again.

Although it’s undergoing a renovation, we had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this hotel. Expedia gave us an affordable option for our retiree budgets and the hotel and surroundings did not disappoint. Safe, beautiful and near a few tube lines and convenient to buses. The Nespresso machine in the room was an added bonus!

We had a fabulous stay here! Definitely the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at in a while. Employees were very helpful with recommendations and calling a taxi for us when we needed. Is a short walk to the underground. They are renovating but you wouldn’t know it, we didn’t hear any noise!

Convenient location for Kensington, reasonable rate for Zone 1 London, room was very clean and nicely appointed, small room but fine as we only spent a couple of nights. The lights are a bit weird here, they use a high tech panel and ambient lighting. We had Room 314 which was quiet, window faced west and was an inner court yard, we did not face Queen's Gate road which can be busy and noisy.

The Queen's Gate Hotel is located in a convenient location. There are several metro stops that will get you to other areas of London in 20-30 minutes. The area around the hotel is safe and quiet. Located in South Kensington you can walk to Kensington Gardens, Harrods, and Notting Hill. As well, there are several museums close by which is great! I would recommend to stay at this hotel as it is clean, rooms are spacious and overall, location is a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of London.

Great location close to tube stations and bus stops. So close to many attractions in Kensington. Various food options within walking distance. Friendly staff. The room always stayed hot though despite modifying the thermostat. The pillows weren’t very comfortable. But these two things are the only complaints I can make the room was clean and the bathroom bigger than others I’ve experienced staying in London. The elevator is also a big plus you don’t always find in the area.

The hotel is in a beautiful, quiet and clean area of the city. It's an easy spot to grab a taxi and only a 5 minute walk to grab a red bus or the tube. Our only issue, was that it was unseasonably warm the first couple days and the air conditioning was not yet turned on in the building. Otherwise, all was great!

Beautiful and clean but the shining stars are the members of the staff - so welcoming. Expedia offered us a great deal for this lovely small scale hotel. We like to search for spaces without carpeting due to asthma and allergies and this was perfect. Handy spot near Glouster Tube station and Kensington Park and gardens. So happy here!
