Pretty cool staying in an english pub... but.

Pretty cool staying in an english pub... But, it was a little run down and was a victim of "deferred maintenance". Some of the beer taps were not working. Staff was friendly and helped when they could. TV was small and old, no remote "someone stole it"? Shower hardware was deficient. Close to Heathrow Airport, stayed over to catch an early flight!

This may be a cultural thing as I'm used to American hotels and this is in a South Asian neighborhood... it was not filthy but not very clean either. No soap or shampoo and no towels. Very thin pillows. However, we were exhausted and he let us check in early for £20, and it was safe and out of the weather. There was a restaurant inside and the area wasn't too noisy and seemed safe. It's next to a very nice park. The beds were comfortable.

Could improve

Lovely location. However needs a new management. No soap, was told to go and buy from the corner shop. Previous urine stains on toilet seat. Room heating not working... however was given a heater/blower by the chap on duty. No wifi password given. Morning view was beautiful from the window... ducks... however on checkout saw all filth dumped in the parking -perhaps not visible on arrival at dark. Could really improve but things are shabby currently (aim to improve)

Its not a Hotel, its like Hostel. My stay at this hotel was terrible. The building is very old and was not clean. There was a lot of dust, which triggered my allergies and made me feel unwell during my stay. The stairs were extremely steep, almost a 90-degree climb, and very difficult to use, especially with luggage. I also did not eat anything during my stay because the condition of the place made me feel sick. The night was another major problem. Some guests in the next room were drinking and making very loud noise in the middle of the night. The noise continued for around two hours, disturbing everyone and making it impossible to sleep properly. Overall, the cleanliness, condition of the building, difficult stairs, and noise made this a very unpleasant experience. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves the property and guest experience. I would not stay here again

This place should be condemned - do not stay here!!! The car park is a dump, full of rubbish and glass. We were extremely wary about leaving our car here. The reception area is a complete mess, full of junk, dirty and untidy. Apparently there is building work going on but there were no signs of this. When someone finally bothered to acknowledge our presence, we were taken to a room. The dirty, smelly, dingy space which we were shown looked disgusting. There was no ensuite (which we had booked), so we returned to the reception area to ask about this. The response was very non-committal so we left.
