A grand, characterful hotel located in an old grammar school building. We loved the location, close to Tower Bridge, London Bridge, short walk to Borough Market. The interior of the hotel is stunning and luxurious, particularly the great hall where we had breakfast. All staff we encountered were friendly and courteous. First class hospitality from the bartender in the Teacher’s Room bar. Our room (senior classroom) was comfortable and tastefully decorated. Bathroom was spacious, with the bonus of a heated toilet seat. Highly recommended.

This is my favorite hotel in London! I love the classic feel with a South Asian touch, the rooms are so spacious and comfortable, and I’m obsessed with the shower. The staff are always so courteous, I’ve stayed twice now and will definitely continue to return!

We spent 2 nights at the hotel. Hotel is quiet and relaxing. They were at capacity but you would not have know it. Service at the bar could be slow, as it appeared wait staff from the kitchen also tends the bar. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Great look caption, close to the bridge.

The location and hotel were beautifully maintained. The location was excellent and walkable to many sights. The staff was extremely helpful. The only issue I had was that we were given a handicap room which we didn't request. The floor in the bathroom was a bit slippery after showering and we had to dry it with a towel. Also, the drinks during happy hour were still quite pricey even though it was busy 1 get 1. I would definitely stay there again and request a non handicap too.
