Enjoyed our two night stay at The Guardsman. Very nice upscale boutique hotel in a great location in the heart of London's Westminster district. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Very comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. A/C worked great while we were there. Would highly recommend.

A nice clean hotel. The room was small and had no drawers to put clothes. You had to live out of your suitcase sitting on the floor. Good central location to many of the historical sites.

The Guardsman is in an excellent location short walk to Westminster Abbey & Parliament. Lovely decor, comfortable beds, very nice staff. Many restaurants nearby, best was Buckingham Arms pub around the corner, fabulous food.

The property looks like a five star hotel but unfortunately it is not. It is understaffed, staff are not always helpful…(some staff are excellent but clearly too far stretched) whilst others are poor.A leaking shower base meant my trousers got wet, instead of offering to sort them (as I would expect for a conde Nast hotel) I was told to dry them with a hairdryer. No turn down service, and we were offered a free drink to compensate, asked for baileys - but there was a huge problem with that and we were just given wine to take home instead. Somebody needs to go in and sort this team out to get them working together as a team and more staff should be recruited!
