Great location, very friendly front desk staff, smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. Laughably small. Couldn’t imagine staying there more than one night. However the actual inside of the room was high quality throughout. Great bathroom and shower and very comfortable bed with the cleanest bedding I’ve seen in a hotel in a long time. I would try this hotel again but maybe spring for a larger room.

The location was excellent - a very short walk to Paddington station, which has connections to pretty much anywhere you might want to go. Calm street and short walk to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. The hotel itself was very comfortable. We booked a Club Room, which was on the main floor - a bit odd as I'm used to better rooms being on the higher floors. But it was actually great because it was remarkably quiet and cool on a hot summer visit. We had the best nights sleep of our entire trip. The breakfast that we booked with our room was excellent and well worth the cost. And the Indian restaurant attached to the hotel was also quite tasty. We would highly recommend this hotel, especially as the cost was quite reasonable by London standards.

Fabulous hotel, well appointed rooms, very quiet and excellent air-conditioning that was so welcome during the heatwave we were having during our stay. Very comfortable beds too. Only downside was we had 2 rooms and one was in a basement with no windows.. it was fine for our 1 night stay but it would have been nice to have been told at check-in we would have no natural light. Would definitely stay again.. but would check our room had windows!

The hotel staff were pleasant and the location perfect for our trip itinerary. The room was clean other than a foul smell coming from the shower cosmetics, specifically brown gunk coming from the conditioner bottle that smelled unsanitary. I would however be willing to stay in the hotel again.

This could have been a 5 star review but we were given 2 rooms in the basement, with plaster over the windows, and which had green emergency lights over the door that stayed on all night. I felt very bad for the kind staff that had to pretend like it was normal. It was only a night, so I let it go, but if I had to spend more than a night there, I would have found it too claustrophobic. The staff is fabulous and the rooms are spotless. But maybe they should have a separate category for the basement. It certainly didn’t match the photos.
