Perfect hotel! We stayed here for our wedding in Chelsea, it was everything we wanted and more. From check in to check out we were made to feel completely at home. Large room with nice bathroom but the carpet is older and should be replaced Safe in the room was truly tiny and not able to be used- they need to put a bigger one that can hold a regular size laptop. Staff was friendly but they had our name and reservation wrong when we came down for breakfast and confused us with another and we had to ask and recheck several times and then they did finally find that we had paid for breakfast but if we hadn’t rechecked we wouldn’t have had it included even though we had prepaid for it, Recommend eating at sister hotel which is walkable from the townhouse as it has a nice restaurant in a cute area ; The staff needs to be trained to coordinate when shift changes as we had to recheck in a second time after we had already paid for room and dropped bags off and it took the new person time to find out reservation. Given how pricey the room was we were disappointed overall and would not stay here again.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff. I didn’t have the most expensive room so this may not apply to other rooms - there was little to no natural light in the room and the A/c was working but for those who like really cool rooms - it was struggling. I had hoped for a desk or table but the room really only fitted the bed and wardrobe with the ability to walk around the bed but it was ’bijou’. Other practical things to comment on - no real space to lay out your toiletries except on a shelf above the toilet. No hook in the bathroom to hang anything and the towel rail was above the toilet. I’m tall - not sure how smaller people manage. I was very grateful to have an early check-in and the staff were fabulous. The decor was stunning and the location superb - just off Kings Road. Just wished the room was roomier, with a window and some easy wins like hooks and shelves and bedside lighting etc. the answer is probably to pay more.

This is a wonderful hotel in the heart of Chelsea. It is tastefully appointed throughout. We stayed in a king room facing Codogan Square which was lovely. It was immaculate and nicely appointed with a comfortable bed, sitting area and complementary soft drink mini-bar. The bathroom was nice with ample towels. Slippers and bathrobes were provided in large closet. We had breakfast in the dining lounge overlooking the garden. It was lovely. There were plenty of options available from simple continental to full english. We noticed in the lobby that the hotel provided blankets if you wanted to lay out in the garden and would even arrange for a picnic basket if you were so inclined. The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. The location is very convenient, just a block from Sloane Square convenient to the tube, restaurants and shopping galore on Kings Road. We will definitely be coming back again.

An outstanding hotel. Very convenient location. Staff were absolutely superb and the room itself was brilliant. Lovely little touches at every turn such as complementary snacks and drinks (remember when all hotels had this?!), robe and slippers etc. I was a little surprised when I was told an additional £20 service charge was to be paid on checkout when the room was already paid but apart from that, a really great stay. Highly recommended.

The Chelsea Townhouse was the ideal artistic haven during the London Art Biennale. I was enveloped in inspiration from the moment I arrived, surrounded by wonderful collection of art throughout the hotel and soothed by beautiful classical music. The location was perfect — incredibly safe and walkable to the Chelsea Old Town and biennale events, with excellent restaurants nearby. The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful, a wonderful library and a well-equipped gym was a great bonus. Feeling constantly inspired and secure made my stay truly special. I absolutely loved the artistic atmosphere and hope to return for future events!

Clean and nice

Stay was lovely. It is a really nice hotel in a great area of Chelsea. I booked the single room and it is TINY. It is great for a short stay but would not recommend for longer stays as it was a bit stressful to navigate the room. That said, the hotel is incredibly clean, the overall property is boutique luxurious. However, as I was there for business I was disappointed the wake up call was 30 minutes late. Everything else was great though.

Didn’t live up to our expectations

Dark and gloomy room in the basement. Told us it was an upgrade. Couldn’t open the curtains, people walking on the street could look in . They did not clean our room, we had to ask for the room to get cleaned at 3:45 p.m The wine glass in the room had such a terrible smell we had to poor the wine out ( thought it was bad wine, then we discovered that the water tasted the same. Ruined an expensive bottle of wine. Nice garden. Great location. Would I stay here again? No

Absolutely gorgeous boutique hotel. Elegant and classy. Only 36 rooms. The location could not be surpassed: perfection. Walking distance from the action but on a beautiful residential street steps away from a pedestrian street offering everything you could possibly want to eat and drink: bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants, ice cream parlor, cheese shop… love it! Feels like staying in a beautiful home instead of in a hotel. And the staff is super nice and helpful. Will definitely stay here again!
