Great staff- super friendly, was nice to store my luggage and had a lift. Rooms were cleaned everyday; not the comfiest beds but it's a comfy space in a quiet neighborhood

Staff and service was good. But rooms are small and very very hot. No fridge to have cold drinks. Area is safe . Simple place worth exactly the amount paid. Cheap that is . Good for shower and sleep at most.

We had the 3 bed room and it was very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was great and they have an elevator which was a bonus after carrying our luggage up and down flights of stairs at previous accommodations. The only thing I would say is the room is very small so there is not a lot of room to navigate around the beds and the beds were really comfortable, but not very wide so anytime you went to turn over you had to be really careful so you didn't fall out of the bed.

Stay was good. Staff were helpful. We booked a room for 3 people but one of us couldn't go (never told the hotel) we were just going to use the extra space but we were given a room for 2 when we showed up. No idea why. Didn't complain at the time because we were exhausted from traveling all day but now. Wondering if a ro for 2 should have been cheaper that the 3 we booked. It was clean enough and a good location.

Stayed 3 nights. Shower wasn't working well on arrival so given another room easily. Great location, 16 mins walk to Paddington Station. Beds comfy. Shower great. Lift on-site. No fridge available in rooms. Carpet in stairwell need repairs in parts. Overall a good stay. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

The hotel room was spotless lovely and clean. Was disappointed at the size considering it was an executive double as barely any room to move. The staff were lovely and hospitable and the area wss lovely close enough to transport links and easy walking distances to a lot of places.

The hotel was not easy to find as it is not advertised outside as “The Gate Hotel” it’s only by chance that by locating the door number and actually asking in reception was it identified this was the right place. The location is great with easy access to public transportation and plenty of local amenities. The room was spacious, however this was because we had been allocated a family sized room in the basement. Comfortable bed and decent sized bathroom. The shower cubicle had a plastic curtain across it as it appeared this was to replace what looked like a missing glass panel. Apart from that it did the job and we have enjoyed our stay.

We appreciated the helpful staff. While weather cannot be controlled, the heat was extreme. Staff provided a fan, but it was not enough as the window did not stay open. Furthermore, our bed broke and we had to pull it apart in order to sleep. We left on the 3rd of 5 nights, causing us to pay for another hotel. Staff did offer to bring in new fans and move us to another room, but we were exhausted with the heat. We needed a good nights sleep.
