This historic -150 year building is well maintained. The staff were quite welcoming and helpful. Location- near a tube station made it easy to get around, local coffee shop, food, pharmacy. Breakfast was tasty and reasonably priced.

I liked that it was more personal than a hotel chain. Perfectly located in a lovely area with lots of restaurants nearby. We ate in the hotel one evening and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and tge food lovely with lots of choice.

We thought the hotel was beautiful and decorated very nicely. It was very clean and well decorated. The staff were very friendly and helped lift our luggage. When we asked for things in the room, such as an iron or wash cloths, they were delivered in a timely manner.

Overall, a good stay. Only complaint is that their air conditioning system isn't adequate. The thermostat isn't easy to use, the temperature isn't controllable (it's all or nothing) and the fan is very loud. Had maintenance guy check and he said all was working fine
