Great attention to detail and very friendly staff, from doorman, to reception and concierge, to cleaning staff. First day I arrived a bit earlier from airport and was able to get early check in. Was also jet lagged and had a couple Nespresso cups in room. The next day staff filled coffee bar with pods I drank plus extras of the ones I liked. Small things like that throughout my stay, that most hotels ignore and show attention to detail.

They tried to put us in an apartment which wasn’t the standard room we booked. When we did get our room it was only ok. Definitely not 5 star. This hotel is over priced. I would not recommend.

Nice clean, large room. Recently modernised although still with the shower in the bath tub. Room was quiet enough during the day and for most of the night. Unfortunately it was located over the delivery entrance for the hotel so was noisy from 6am. Very welcoming and friendly staff.
The historic Down Street underground station is beside the hotel. This station closed shortly after it opened due to lack of demand from residents of Mayfair and the opening of nearby Hyde Park Corner Station. It was used as a bomb shelter in WW2.

Lively and Lovely Stay

This is a great hotel close to a few restaurants and Buckingham Palace. We especially enjoyed Sofra around the corner. There is a mini mart on a side street and an M&S close by. Very nice staff. Great walkable park right across the street.

Absolutely horrible experience at this hotel.. the staff made me so uncomfortable and made me cry.. I was rejected at the spa area because I’m pregnant (19 weeks) they said it was hotel policy but it’s not stated anywhere at all, so I wasn’t welcome at the spa or gym because their insurance didn’t cover.. I chose this specific hotel because they had a spa, as I wanted to relax after hours of shopping, however I was told I couldn’t use any of their facilities (spa and gym facilities) and when I questioned if I couldn’t decide that myself I was very rudely asked “would you really risk your unborn child for a spa?” Which obviously made me feel really uncomfortable and upset as a first time mum going a way with a friend for a weekend of shopping and spa.. When we spoke with the “manager”, there was no understanding or any apology at all.
