If what you are looking for is simply a place to sleep, this is just about the best value in London. It is clean and comfortable and it is literally the closest hotel to Paddington station (underground, national rail.) I stay here often and am always pleased.

I loved the cleanliness and the professionalism from all the staff members. This place is great if you like comfort, peace of mind and a place that has peaceful energy. I can’t say enough about the staff they were all amazing and always willing to help and assist. I highly recommend St. David’s Hotel. The train is nearby and plenty of places to eat and shop.

The positives: Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff. Spaces were absolutely spotless. Be aware that the rooms are predominantly walk ups. There is no elevator on the property. We had members of our party with mobility issues. While the staff was helpful in finding a first floor property for them, you must be aware and notify them in advance if you need accomodation.

This was a nice stay for a good price. It's location near Paddington Station was super convenient. While it's an older hotel, they've updated the rooms nicely and while very "efficient" in size, newer amenities like phone charging plugs were well placed. There was a little bit of noise from the trains, but nothing that kept us up. We stayed on the 3rd floor, and there is no elevator but the front desk staff offered to help take our luggage up. It would have been nice to have a wider selection of tea at the hallway station, but that's getting a bit picky on my part. Lovely stay.
