No lift so ask for ground floor when booking if needed. Nice, cool basement room, simple but clean and comfortable. Helpful reception (24hrs). Some updating is happening with painting etc but overall a good stay in a great location.

Shandon House Hotel is a scam. The room in uninhabitable but they exploit the no refund policy and so people arrive, and realise its not viable and then leave, and they keep the money. Hugely disappointed in Expedia who took no interest despite adverting the room in a wholly inaccurate way
