Convenient, if you don’t mind feeling like you’re sleeping in a cupboard. The location is great, right near the station, close to public transport, and nestled in a lovely part of London. That’s probably what you’re paying for.. because it certainly isn’t the room. Let’s just say “compact” would be generous. If you’ve ever wanted to experience what it’s like to sleep in a tastefully decorated cupboard, this is your chance! Add to that paper-thin walls and ceilings, and you’ll enjoy every stomp, sneeze, and late-night chat from your upstairs and next-door neighbours. All in all, it’s fine if you’re a solo traveler there to explore and not planning to spend much time in your room. Just don’t expect space or value.

It’s our fourth stay here and it ticks all the boxes, especially price vs location near Paddington train station. It’s modern, in good condition and staff are friendly. Definitely recommend.

The Rove overall was an excellent experience, especially location wise, the rooms were clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Just one thing-if you’re a light sleeper you may be a bit bothered with hearing the trains because of the hotel’s proximity to Paddington Station.

The property is new and clean, with daily housekeeping. During our stay, there was an issue with the WiFi—it didn’t work at all for the first two days and then functioned very poorly. Other than that, the location is good and well connected to the London Underground.

There's an issue with the hot water. They'll act surprised when you bring it up, but as others have noted, it's a common theme to only have cold water in your shower. They turned mine on within a day but still, very frustrating. Also the rooms are absolutely tiny, the entire bathroom the size of a closet, the sink being in the main room rather inconvenient.

We enjoyed every moment here! The property was clean and well maintained. The room was small, as was to be expected for the area. The staff were very kind and helpful. The location is perfect for enjoying all of London with a less than 5 minute walk to Paddington Station and 10-15 minutes to Hyde Park. Will very likely stay here again.

The Rove was close to the paddington train station and conveniently within walking distance to Hyde Park and many shops and restaurants or pubs. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and had everything we needed. There was even a lift in this hotel--not usual or expected!
