If you are ok with old and rustic, Rose Court Hotel is all of that. Well situated is the main advantage, easy to catch the underground, bus or simply walk.

I have been coming to this property for quite a few years and have always felt satisfied. Staff are friendly and helpful and the area is excellent. Some rooms are sometimes on the smaller side but thats OK. All in all its is a great property considering the location and everything else.

I could be a great hotel if it was updated ie internal paint job moe choice of food or abar the lift was not very Disable Friendly it be difficult to get a wheelchair in (even closed) but you get what you paid for.

Overpriced and dirty

Hotel Old and run down, the bedding fell off when I went ti bed and OMG the sheets under were next level nasty. The window to the street broken and not able to close properly so noisy all night. Bathroom don’t even know where to start. It’s a 1 star hotel at its best and extremely overpriced. Can’t recommend

Ok for a few hours of sleep

The rooms are nothing like the pictures looks like. Very old hotel, dirty carpets. Check in person was sleeping in the couch at check out.

This was an alright stay for one night. The room was tidy but steps had been missed during the cleaning process, dust through the room, rubbish left in drawers, water over the bathroom floor, cobwebs in the room and bathroom, etc. Check-out was at 11, yet I got a knock on the floor at 09:30 am and housekeeping seemed surprised I was still in the room. The front desk staff were very friendly on check-in and check-out. An alright place to stay if you want to just sleep

STAY AWAY!

Shocking hotel! My wife cut her finger when trying to turn on the shower. Went to reception to discuss and the service was appalling! After much arguing they moved us rooms and said they’d just put other people into ours. Location is fantastic but unfortunately everything else is shocking!

Disgrace !!!

Room was very tired, doors hanging off wardrobe, bed bases had seen better days, could feel springs in the mattress. Carpet needed burned, was badly stained. Final straw was bugs on the bathroom floor when we returned from our evening out. Having disposed of them, more were found in the bath next morning.

Dirty Room w/ Potential for Bed Bugs

The room was not clean and very dated. The floors were not vacuumed. The light fixture was a ceiling fan, which appeared to not have been dusted ever. The headboards were also dusty. Our room was on the 4th floor, and the elevator only went up to floor 3. My friend who I stayed with says she was attacked by bed bugs. I had checked my bed and didn't see any bed bugs

DO NOT STAY HERE

This hotel is a sham. It is plain unsafe. The pictures posted are NOTHING like the actual hotel. We had a broken window, trash left in the shower, stains ALL OVER THE FLOOR, tile floor covered in mold, dust covering the water pitcher and other things that hadn't been touched or cleaned in a long time. Our door was also destroyed as if it had been jimmied open many times and did not have a doorknob on the inside. We felt unsafe and did NOT stay at this hotel. We ended up having to book and pay for a complete other hotel and they will not refund anything. Beware of this junky hotel.

The property was in a terrible condition- old , not well maintained, very poor hygiene. I’m happy to provide pictures. Bed sheets were clean - that’s the only think . Hairs on sink , dust , dirty stains all over the room . Walls not decorated it full of stains and paint off. Tv not working. Missing bits from tv remote . Falling off door from wardrobe (it was broken and half down on the floor- that’s how I found it when I walked in the room . Nasty smell .I asked for refund and to leave the property but they refused and offered me two keys to two other rooms . The other rooms were in the same critical condition .I had nothing to do so late in the night than to stay I a terrible condition. Creepy dirty hallways with broken old pics hanging on walls. Broken locks on the door .This place need to be shut down and have a major refurbishment. Seriously I felt scared to stay it felt like in a coast hostel .

Very basic but does the job considering we were barely in the room. Our main issue however was a leak in the room right by the entrance to the bathroom. The ceiling was dripping and had soaked the carpet. We had informed reception and the only thing the gentleman at reception offered us was to put a tin bucket under the leak filled with water to help stop any sound (this didn't help at all) we were still left jumping over the enormous wet patch to go to the toilet. They hadn't even offered us a room change, just the bucket. We requested to speak to the manager who was shocked we weren't offered a room change, and due to the issues faced, we ended up receiving an additional discount. The manager and owner, however, were accommodating and ensured we left the property happy. If we hadn't had the issue with the leak and the only 'solution' being a bucket underneath this review would be slightly higher. In our room, the bathroom door didn't shut fully either however this isn't the end of the world. Yes, it does need a little bit of TLC here and there but considering the location and its price you do get what you pay for, however, we didn't expect to be jumping over a wet patch on the carpet to go to the bathroom.
