The location is excellent for the British Museum, Covent Garden, Soho and Kings Cross. We stayed at one of the appartments just metres away from the hotel itself. For the price in this expensive area of London, this accommodation is fantastic value for money. The appartment was very clean and althouth not modern, it's in good condition and is very spacious for the 3 of us. The receptionist was very helpful and welcoming and the breakfast was adequate. I would happily return next time I need to be in that area of London.

The breakfast was really good and the location was really good. The room was very small and if you go there do not stay on the top rooms. Structurally the rooms up there are not square. They slant. The hotel was rated 31/2 star and I am just not seeing it. The location though really can’t be beat.

This is a basic hotel with small rooms and a narrrow staircase with no lift. But the soundproofing must be good because it was quiet and yet at breakfast there were a lot of guests. Breakfast was good with ordering done using a QR code. Staff seemed friendly and we were able to leave our bags after check out without paying a fee. The water from the bathroom sink was not potable but they provided a liter bottle of tap water. Air conditioning worked great and it was a very hot two days.

We had a really great stay it was close to what we needed. Room was clean and well equipped. Unfortunately the room was very warm and only a small standing fan was available which was inadequate. There were no plugs for any of the sinks and the mattress dipped on the one side which meant when you rolled over you could easily fall out of bed. And the mattress on the single bed was uncomfortable too. Mattresses could do with an upgrade. But other than that we had a lovely stay.

No surprises - room looked like the photos (better, actually) and the breakfast was as generous and delicious as all the reviews said. This is a classic old London hotel that is well-run and hasn't been reduced to cutting corners at the expense of guest experience. It is still a hotel in a very old building, with all that entails (no lift, narrow stairs), but it was clean, bright, and well-maintained.

Couldnt find a more perfect location. The breakfast included was great, with so many options. The room was large, the bed comfy, though the air conditioner didnt seem to work. Luckily the windows opened to let the cool air in. Most of the staff were very helpful. Only thing is that the floor in the room is carpeted which is not ideal cleanliness-wise. Overall i would happily stay there again!

The location of the hotel is fantastic with central London all in walking distance. We had an apartment room which suited us perfectly for the week. The kitchenette was a great asset. I stayed at the Morgan as a solo traveller needing a small space with a bed and private bathroom. The Morgan was clean and comfortable, the space was small but well laid out. The daily breakfast was an exceptional value and very well cooked to order. Definitely recommend for a budget friendly no frills stay. If you are particular about the brand of body wash / shampoo you use do bring your own.
