The staff were amazing - they told us we were ‘guests of the day’ and kindly gave us a complimentary breakfast and a bottle of Prosecco. The room was clean and tidy. The only minor issues was the slightly unpleasant smell in the bathroom and one of the bedside tables was missing - the carpet indentation showed there had been one!

A perfect stay from start to finish. On check in, Jolo was amazing. A smile as soon as we got to check in and his customer service skills were impeccable. It makes such a refreshing change when customer service seems to be a dying breed. He was so friendly and personable. Offered us free breakfast for our 2 night stay and a late check out. He couldn’t do enough. In fact, every member of staff we dealt with were superb. The spa facilities, all be it small, were perfectly formed. Infra red sauna, steam, jacuzzi and small pool were spotless. Breakfast was fantastic, up on the top floor, so you had great views of the city. Room was great, clean & spacious with comfy beds. Even though they told us renovation work was taking place of the upper floors of the hotel as it’s soon to become a Marriott, it had no impact on our stay. 2min walk to Moorgate tube or 5 mins to Liverpool st station, it was a perfect location. Will definitely return
