There was a bit of a mix up when we arrived . I had booked a twin room but we were allocated a room with a king size bed. Had to wait for quite a while until it was sorted . I had asked for a room on a lower floor but unfortunately another misunderstanding occurred . We were given a room in the basement which I certainly didn’t request. There was no window as such , just a tiny patio which was open to the sky . The small roof covering and the floor was covered in bird droppings. It was very undesirable . I complained and was promptly offered a room on the 3rd floor. I must make a special mention to the young lady on reception called Georgia who went above and beyond to accommodate my request as well as giving us a complimentary drink. I could not fault the new room - beautiful decor , comfortable beds , bathrobes and slippers, complimentary soft drinks from the minibar,excellent shower and underfloor heating in the bathroom. The hotel was only 5 minutes walk from Paddington station and Hyde Park which was great as well. I would recommend this hotel as but don’t accept a room in the basement.!

Good Paddington hotel

Good location close to Paddington and Hyde Park. Room was small but comfortable with a good bed and ensuite. Happy hour is appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful.
