Convenient and clean place to stay

The owner is very friendly and helpful. The check in is easy. The room is small but very clean with all amenities available. The bed is comfortable and we have a good night sleep. Kitchen is clean with microwave and drinks provided. Excellent location with walkable distance to many attractions.

This place was a no frills type of room. Perfect for my stay. It had everything I needed - a bed, private bathroom/shower and it was very clean. I was able to walk and take the tube easily.

A fairly basic small B&B type hotel with a few rooms and a kitchen that guests can use to make tea/coffee or your own breakfast. Everything was very clean and my single room was small but very quiet and had a refurbished bathroom with good shower. Friendly owner was very welcoming. The location was convenient for the Tower Hill area with good tube connections from there and/or Aldgate East.

We wanted a place to sleep for a few nights while exploring London, and it lived up to our expectations. There was a slight smell of mold in the bathroom, and a loud hum outside the window in the evening. But it's at a good location and for a fair price, so we are happy with our stay.

Solid small scale place in a great location

Leman House was a great little hotel in a central part of London. You get what you pay for in terms of the cost. If you just need a small room and don't want to break the bank, this is definitely your place. The only main drawback was the size of the bathroom which was quite, quite small. But if you don't mind that, then this place will more than tick the box.

Actually I got this horel because I had an exam in white chapel building and that was very close. I had issue in check in they didn't put any key or password and when I artived they were not there and my phone charge was finished and I went to the near restaurant and ask them to call the phone and then they send me a code. That was struggling. But the room and amneties for the proce was reasonable and I was happy with them. Bed and rest room and shower area were very neat and clean and there was a kitchen there that you can go and warm your food and keep your food refrigerated and it was very economic for a person want to stay at the central london with least price and I strongly recommend it to traveler. Pls ask the owner to provide complete information separately for you for check in in advance.

Good for a quick trip at a fair price

TL/DR: for the position and price, a very good deal for visiting London in a couple of days. Nice little guest house, close enough to the city centre and to public transportation. I had a single room, which was not big, but spacious enough for the time I spent inside, and a comfortable bed. The room was at the first floor, towards the street, hence there was some noise (I'm a light sleeper when I travel). The bathroom is small and the sink very small, but the shower is good in size, clean and with plenty of shower gel and shampoo. The first night the room was a bit cold when I came back, but after turning up the electric heater it was perfect. I also used the kitchen in the morning to prepare tea. The kitchen is small, but I was alone, and the crockery was clean.

This was a nice little guest house. Rooms are small but that was fine. The bathroom was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable. The only downside is the stairs. It's a twisting staircase so that's hard with big cases. We were flying back internationally the following day so we had 2 big cases. The hotel staff were so kind and helped us get them up. It is hard to find the door because the GPS sends you to the wrong place. The door is directly next to the Empress restaurant. We spent 10 mins walking all around with our cases because we couldn't find it. Once we did though it was really nice. I would stay there again.

I was a little concerned about this place as when I contacted them before my stay, I heard nothing back. However 24 hours out I was messaged all the details, and they were available to msg throughout my stay. Be aware that this is an old building; very narrow stairs, low ceilings, unusual layouts and very warm in the summer, but it was basic and comfy- exactly what I wanted. There are no lifts here, so be aware that any luggage you take you will have to lug it up to 3 flights of narrow steep stairs. The building has a code on the front door, which made me feel extra safe, and when I opened the door to our room, it had a big floor fan already working it's magic. This place has restaurants and cafes all under it, and there was no food smell in the rooms, yay!! Small little kitchen on 2 of the floors were clean, tidy and very well stocked! It was in such a fantastic spot, restaurants, bars and cafes all in proximity, a Sainsburys Local and Tesco Express 2 minitues from the door, 3x train stations within 15min walk, and Tower Bridge was literally a 20 minute stroll. The place was a little small, and the stairs were a killer (I'm so unfit) but overall, this place was clean, tidy, and a great sleeping spot for someone exploring London.

The reception desk was unmanned, and when I got through to the mobile phone number stuck on the front door, there was confusion over what booking they had. The room was sparse, with no reading light. The promised facilities (kettle, microwave etc) were in a shared "kitchen". The alleged "sound proofed" rooms were defeated by the neighbouring railway and road junction.
