Have stayed here several times It provides basic clean and safe accommodation in an excellent location The building is huge so be prepared to have a room facing several different outlooks The reception staff are always exceedingly helpful friendly and very patient Luggage can be stored at no extra cost Breakfast is included and there is an excellent choice available

Close to the River Thames, the situation could not be better for exploring historical London. Many of the most famous sites are within walking distance. Also, the rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and breakfast is excellent.

I loved my stay here. The location was great with a lovely little green space right out the door to relax during the heat wave. The staff was very accommodating with an excellent luggage room to store my bags before check in and after check out. And the breakfast was all you could ask for. I would definitely stay again.

Absolutely 💯 superb stay . Always clean and enough sachets to make drinks etc,shower gel and shampoo. shower superb and always has hot water . Beds comfy and so close to most places that you eould like to visit . Always my go to place now I know where it is . Breakfast fabulous too .

In the rented room, water from the bathroom was leaking into the room itself. The shower enclosure was poorly sealed. I was most pleased with the breakfast; there was a huge selection of food and all kinds of drinks.

I’ve stayed at LSE Bankside twice now. While it’s basic and could certainly use some updating, it’s clean and the breakfast is an excellent deal. The location is great with 2 tube stations within a 10 minute walk. There’s a laundry room onsite which makes packing light easier. As there is no air conditioning it could get hot in the middle of summer but my room was comfortable when the temps were high 70’s F.

The location is brilliant. The breakfast is brilliant and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. As a single, female traveller, I felt safe. Unfortunately, I found that my room hadn't been made up when I checked in at about 5pm. Although, the person on reception was very apologetic and sent staff to clean the room, it spoilt the experience for me. Hopefully it was a one-off, so I would consider booking again in the future, but it has affected my score this time.

I paid £58 a night for a basic single room which had everything I needed. Tea and coffee making facilities in room, use of a kitchen with microwave and fridge and a bathroom with a powerful shower. These things coupled with the very central location and a hearty breakfast with a wide choice of foods at no extra cost has got to be one of the best bargain stays in London Gonna do it again next summer in my favourite city in the world

Basic but very convenient accommodation. Comfortable beds, ensuite, buffet breakfast included. Very good value for the location and great tube connections. Bring your ear plugs though as rooms not soundproof and doors bang. No in-room TV but this was no problem for us. FYI - No fridge, no air con. Very powerful shower (on ground floor)

The 'all you can eat' breakfast is a real winner enabling guests to be well fuelled for a busy day without having to worry about fitting in lunch!! Especially good location for the Tate Modern and the Globe Theatre and many other locations. Thanks for a great stay LSE!!
