Great location, clean and comfortable.

This was my second visit to this hotel. I chose to return because of the location and overall pleasantness of the hotel. Staff is accommodating, rooms are clean (definitely on the small side, but what youd expect for central london), and the price is fair. This visit we had a room with a small balcony which was very nice! Breakfast was nothing special, bet adequate and plentiful. They will make espresso or cappuccino if you want t.

Cozy room perfect for two people. Very accommodating when our flight got delayed and helped us rebook our same room. Perfect location, close to trains and buses, and right off the border of central london. All of your essentials can be found right around the corner. Friendly staff! Would definitely recommend

The room was not cleaned properly, was promised a city view but we couldn’t even see out of our window, we only had 2 plugs, the rest were European plugs. The staff were always just sat down on there phones and when we asked for towels because our towel stunk of semen, she took about 30 minutes. I wouldn’t not recommend.

The drain in my sink was clogged. I informed the receptionist, who said it would be taken care of, but nothing happened. As a result, there was a bad smell in the room. The room was not cleaned a single time during my four-day stay, even though I placed the “please clean” sign outside the door. The window could not be closed properly, which caused constant noise and cold air coming into the room. On one occasion, my electronic key did not work at the front door, and I had to wait for assistance. It also did not work for my room until I received a new key at the reception. There were hairs on the walls of the shower. The coffee cup was not cleaned either; it still contained remains from the previous guest. It is not worth the money.

Woke up covered in bed bug bites. Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. The front desk staff seemed less than interested in asking about why I was checking out early and had no follow up when I told them there were bed bugs in the room. Not even an offer to refund the two days I wouldn’t be staying in their unhygienic accommodation. Pathetic.

Great location for Royal Albert Hall, Hyde park, and Kensington area. The hotel is very nicely presented. The downside for us was the small room.

Refurbishment continues at a good pace. My room was freshly done, quite lovely, and remarkably spacious. Staff was on hand to check me in, even long before normal check-in hours, and did not charge me a premium for early check-in (about 2 hours early). They had a little difficulty finding my prepayment record, but gamely continued searching the system until they found it. The location is absolutely stunning, half a block from Kensington Gardens and only a five-minute walk to the restaurants and shops on Kensington High Street. This hotel is an excellent quality for the price, and I will certainly stay here again.

Staff is super nice & helpful. The breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of buffet style offerings. Older building could hear the people upstairs walking around all night. Thankfully they were kind enough to move me to a quieter room. Carpets are worn in the room. Perfect location near Kensington Palace.

Great location near Kensington Palace. Nice old house. Pleasant personnel. Good (not amazing) breakfast. Everything in good/great condition except that the carpet in our bedroom needed to be replaced (old and dirty). Small room (par for the course).
