Upon arrival, the receptionist was very polite and it was so quick to check in. The room was ideal for a solo traveller staying for one night. Cozy room perfect for two people. Very accommodating when our flight got delayed and helped us rebook our same room. The room was not cleaned properly, was promised a city view but we couldn’t even see out of our window, we only had 2 plugs, the rest were European plugs. The staff were always just sat down on there phones and when we asked for towels because our towel stunk of semen, she took about 30 minutes. I wouldn’t not recommend.

The Reception staff were very welcoming. We were given a basement room (102). The radiators had been left on max so the heat was stifling. There was one single glazed window that opened on to basement steps leading up to the road. It did not stay open by itself and it felt unsafe to have the accessible window propped open to reduce the temperature when we slept. The blind didn't have a mechanism to raise it, so there was no natural light during the day. There was a safe, but it had a low battery and was not attached to the wall. Completely useless. I would not have felt safe staying in this room as a lone traveller.

The front desk staff seemed less than interested in asking about why I was checking out early and had no follow up when I told them there were bed bugs in the room. Not even an offer to refund the two days I wouldn’t be staying in their unhygienic accommodation. Pathetic.

The drain in my sink was clogged. I informed the receptionist, who said it would be taken care of, but nothing happened. As a result, there was a bad smell in the room. The room was not cleaned a single time during my four-day stay, even though I placed the “please clean” sign outside the door. The window could not be closed properly, which caused constant noise and cold air coming into the room. On one occasion, my electronic key did not work at the front door, and I had to wait for assistance. It also did not work for my room until I received a new key at the reception. There were hairs on the walls of the shower. The coffee cup was not cleaned either; it still contained remains from the previous guest. It is not worth the money.

Great location, clean and comfortable.

This was my second visit to this hotel. I chose to return because of the location and overall pleasantness of the hotel. Staff is accommodating, rooms are clean (definitely on the small side, but what youd expect for central london), and the price is fair. This visit we had a room with a small balcony which was very nice! Breakfast was nothing special, bet adequate and plentiful. They will make espresso or cappuccino if you want t.

Bathroom was dirty, staff was not very helpful, our light fixture was broken, along with the TV. You are expected to purchase your own water, there is not hydration station at the property. RECEPTION IS NOT 24/7, there is typically one person at a time so if they are out, no one is there to assist. Lift is small and extremely slow, if you have a lot of luggage and are on a top floor you will have to wait or use the stairs every time. Reception is not reachable by phone you have to walk down to speak with them, but their hours are 9am-12am.
