Perfect location if you are traveling to or from London via train or tube. Nicely renovated. Rooms are small but very clean. Nice coffee bar at the end of the hall. Helpful staff, especially the bellhop.

Great location between St. Pancras and King's Cross stations, and quiet rooms. First room had a nice large bed but there was no shower, just a very deep tub, difficult to get in and out. Changed to a smaller room with a shower, much smaller bed, only room available with a shower. But the shower would alternate between hot and cold water. Hopefully it was fixed after we left. Maintenance issues were dealt with very promptly. Bar downstairs had very loud music, but outside patio was very nice. Excellent steak dinner, good service.

Food was the highlight. Both lunch and breakfast were absolutely delicious. Check in a disappointment. Should have been 3pm but room not ready till 3.50pm. The carpet in the room had a wet patch, which might have explained the lateness of he room being available, but why not dry it with a hairdryer?! Worst thing was no where to sit and dry my hair in front of a mirror!!!! We had a large Victorian room. Be aware the separate toilet has glass doors, someone people may not like that. Bed was extremely comfortable and linen was beautiful.

Why 3 stars? Well it comes down to the WC being next to the bed and we were in a large room. Great if you’re on your own but I’m certain your partner will not appreciate the noise and smells that your morning routine will create! The rest of the hotel is 5*. Great staff but it’s no good having the toilet basically right next to the sleeping end of the bed!
