This is a fairly basic hotel that met our needs while visiting London for a few days. Our stay was quiet and comfortable. Furnishings are simple. It was super helpful that the Tube, a convenience store, and a quick breakfast spot were very close by. Having more toiletries and a small refrigerator would have been helpful. Overall, this was a decent stay.

Aldgate East tube Station is a 30 second walk away and Aldgate tube station is less than 5 minute walk away so you have very close access to various tubes lines. Tesco (open until 11pm) is right next door to the hotel for any snacks you might need. We had breakfast on our last morning there, it was a typical British hotel buffet, great choice of hot, cold, pasty, meats, cheeses that set us up for the travel day home.
