The friendly and welcoming reception team really made the difference. Whilst we booked this particular Ibis Budget after mistakingly thinking this was the Ibis Styles just outside of Heathrow. There was still a local bus (222 outbound and N9 return) to the hotel, but the journey was around 20 mins. The hotel rooms are basic with a shower and sink adjacent to the bed and a separate closet toilet, but it met our needs for a night stopover before an early start from the airport. The staff were great both on arrival and checking out. If your looking for luxury, this is not your place, but as an overnight stay, it was fine.

The room was small but location was fine and a short distance from the Piccadilly Tube Line. Easy transport into the city and Heathrow. Staff was fantastic. Courteous and helpful. Room was clean and breakfast was decent.

Absolutely great value for the price I paid. Clean room, polite staff and a short walk from the underground. The shower is a cubicle which seems like it is in the bedroom, and the toilet in a small separate room. It wasn’t very private. If I had been staying with a friend in the twin room it would have been difficult since there’s nowhere to change, but because I was with family it was manageable. No kettle or tea/coffee but it was nice to go down and grab a coffee from the machine in the morning. Great value if you will be out and about and just need bed/shower! Would consider staying again!

You get what you pay for. It was mostly clean (don’t look at the exhaust fan in the shower) and the bed was comfortable. There is no bathroom. There’s a room for the toilet, but the sink and shower are in the bedroom, so depending on who you’re traveling with, that’s definitely something to consider. Breakfast wasn’t quite what we’re used to (and the coffee machine was out of order), so we walked down the street- Pret, Costa, and Nero are all within a short walk.
