Excellent location, there is a tesco right across the street a bus stop in front of the residence and the train station is only a five minute walk. There is also a lovely park nearby.

Dirty Used Sheets on bed

Terrible cold room,dirty sheets on bed (no clean sheets on bed,disgusting,there trying to cut corners) ,no heating in the room ,radiator not working.laminate floor no rug and no shower floor matt. Don't do it,find another place to stay.breakfast not included in price of £53 but even if it was they only do cold breakfast only and they want additional for it. Overall very below par ,cold ,dirty ,over priced....no staff and it doubles as accomodation for there language school

A superb little residence that provided us with excellent facilities. Alma greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming and friendly. Room was very secure, clean and well furnished. We will definitely stay here again when visiting friends close by in the future.

Very pleasant short stay

Location was very convenient for the party we were attending. Everything was beautifully clean and new. The only small niggle we had was that we couldn't get into the WiFi . It said there was no such Network and we couldn't get sound on the TV for some odd reason. We were only there for one night so it was not worth trying to get put right. If in that area again, I would definitely stay there.

Very Clean and tidy room, comfortable bed, no hassle, come and go freely, close to local town, friendly owner & staff. Would have liked the option of a cooked breakfast.

I had great time during my long stay at Purley Residence --- very convenient, with a bus stop just outside. Special Thanks to Alma --- she is definitely the Soul of the residence ;=D

Really charming

First night in England after a long plane ride including a four hour delay. Sharon was very helpful in spite of the late arrival. The room was quaint. The breakfast OUTSTANDING. We even took a long walk over to take a peak at campus the next morning prior to sitting in the car all day. Just charming all around. (Only downside was that the local pub was closed every time we tried to eat there. Just bad timing.)

Flies. Lots of them

Flies. Lots of flies In winter. On the landing, in the bedroom oh and when I woke up in the morning, there were 2 dead flies on the bed. When I checked out I couldn't believe just how many were on the stairs, landing, window seal, floor. All dead. Where the heck were they coming from?
