Not the cleanest of places. Not too bad though, I had a relatively comfortable stay. I think the overall rating on Expedia when I looked was around 6 ... that's about right or maybe 5

It was a very very hot day t room had no air con ..only portable fan ..after checking in we went too t room which was very hot stuffy…bcus it was on t top floor room 11 had to open all window…turn on t dirty dusty fan..we had to clean ourself…..waited awhile for t room to be bearable…I did request to be away from main road bcus off noise traffic and people arguing in t street etc but still we face t main rd….i didn’t want to make a fuss …after we came back from central london our room key didn’t work no body in reception at late end up ringing t reception bells many time all call ..eventual some one turn up to issue us a new key so we can get into our room …hv stay here before…but this time wasn’t a good experience….

Prettt much perfect.

I enjoyed hiw small and quaint it was but the beds were kind of tough ans the walls are super thin. I DEFINITELY heard someone having sex next door. A bigger tv would be a good step but aside from that, it was just what i needed.

Door did not lock, no sound proofing around the door, so very noisy, could hear night receptionist talking on mobile phone and guests walking past room and up and down the stairs, the base of kettle damaged had to hold button down to boil water, couldn't see buttons on microwave as too worn, Fridge was dirty, floor was very sticky, did not feel safe, only saving grace was bedsheets and towels were clean, very dated property.

It is what it is

Not the cleanest and is very tired. Holes in the furniture and duct tape holding the bed base together. However for the price we paid, it was good enough to rest our heads and you had a full size fridge and other amenities that were appreciated.

Worst place possible to stay. There was a dirty underwear once we arrive on top of heater.. the springs on the bed where popping out, we had to sleep on the floor. No one at lobby to talk with beside when we checked in. Noise use horrible from inside and outside the building.

There’s a fridge, micro and kettle available to use. There is parking available on the street nearby. Negative- the fan in the bathroom is clogged up with dust and dirt, you would find in a vacuum cleaner! Disgusting to look at! Bedside lighting would be nice. General the place looks run down and more pride could be taken of general cleanliness

Smelled of cigarettes and was a bit grubby overall. High pitched whine went off outside my room at 5 in the morning for about 3 hours. No body at reception to deal with it.

The property is utterly rundown, dilapidated and filthy. No exaggeration. The bedframe is held together with duct tape. Water almost wont drain in the shower. The area outside the property had clusters of unsavoury people gathered around to the extent the uber driver had safety concerns. Avoid this property.

You get what you pay for

Couldn’t get in the apartment room door, and couldn’t get out of the bathroom door. The room is very basic and you get what you pay for. Unfortunately for myself it stunk of smoke which is unpleasant for myself personally. The doorbell to the apartment building can be heard throughout and this can be heard in the rooms at 1am/ 4am/ 7am when people are trying to get in. Good for location as it’s minutes from the station and convenience shops. Good for a cheap, last minute deal if you’re just booking a room to sleep only.

Grove apartments - WORST THAN A HOMELESS SHELTER

This was the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in. Customer service in non existent there. The whole place has a weird smell about it and the room was dirty. Mould was growing on the wall near the window and painting pealing off. Stains are everywhere and under the wardrobe was a self made rat /mouse catcher with droppings and poison on the floor near it ( good job I didn’t have children with me ) there was a kettle and dirty cups but no coffee or tea or even sugar or milk. All BnB and hotels provide this simple facility but not here. The walls are paper thin and you can hear the staff in their office constantly and also other guests. The door bell can be heard throughout the building and had rang twice after midnight. The shower was very loose and had to hold it up with my other hand but this just needed the screw tightening. Very simple to do and also the toilet seat kept sliding off but again just needs tightening with a screw driver but again these 2 simple jobs should be easily taken care of if any off the staff took an interest in their guests or hotel. I didn’t feel comfortable or safe there and the place is just screaming for some TLC. Come on owners of this place - YOU NEED TO DESPERATELY UPDATE YOUR HOTEL. everything looks tired and is warn very badly. Would I recommend this place to others? Never
