Room was clean and comfortable. Shower rooms and bathrooms were also clean and in good repair. All staff were friendly and helpful. The food available was good and reasonably priced. There was a little bit of noise into the early hours on one night from other residents, they were outside till late as the weather was so warm. Overall I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

This is a college dorm room, so it is missing a lot of the basics that a hotel room would carry like a kettle, ironing board, AC, TV, etc.. Also the interior of the building is well kept but worn. For the price I was expecting more (I paid over £200 per night inc tax) so was disappointed. I felt that this was overly expensive for what was offered, especially as breakfast wasn't included and there wasn't means to get hot water from a central location like you might do in other budget/minimalist hotels. It is in a nice neighbourhood which is pretty quiet and close to public transport connections. Overall, it is fine if you are open to dorm type accommodation and prepared to pay quite a high price for it, but I won't be staying here again.

Goodenough College provided an ideal opprtunity for me to stay in London while attending conference and doing research. It was clean, well appointed and ideally located. The scholarly atmosphere was also very nice, providing a haven from the busy city.
