I thought that this was a very fair hotel for the price and in an excellent location. It was close to the Saint Prancras train station as well as many, really nice restaurants, coffee shops, and museums. I stayed in a single room and it was perfectly appropriate for the two days that I was there. I didn’t find it to be very loud, even though I was just above the sidewalk level. The staff was effective and helpful when I needed something and my check-in was pretty straightforward. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in London.

I’ve been here before. It’s a good inexpensive clean place. My only complaint is that without AC one needs to have the window open but staff and I’m assuming guests will sit under the window and smoke

The staff were so lovely here, and the room was a good size for a night's stay. Great location, so near anything you could need to travel to. However, the single plug in my room didn't work, so the staff asked me to charge my things in reception, and then they jammed the plug in the wall. Also, there were workers below my window in the morning who were very loud.

Shower and bed linens were very clean, which is the important part. Everything else was in need of repair. The rugs were clearly vacuumed but had many old stains, both in my room and throughout the property. Banisters on the staircase were in desperate need of mending. Overall the hotel just needs some TLC. No elevator and no air conditioning, though staff was kind enough to help me lug my bag up to the top floor. I just missed the heatwave which was lucky. Water pressure was terrible (barely a trickle in the morning when I assume the system was overloaded by guests) and while the towels had clearly been laundered, they'd seen better days. All in all this is essentially a budget hotel and with that in mind, it was good enough for one person who isn't expecting luxury. The location at least is extremely convenient without feeling overly crowded or overwhelmed by tourists.
