I loved my stay at Ellen. I am normally very picky when it comes to lodging and was more than satisfied with the room, service and cleanliness. I would 10/10 choose to stay here again if I’m ever back in London. The close (2 min walk) proximity to the tube station and lots of quick food options made everything very easy.

Great room, even though the price was a bit high. I asked for a handicap, friendly room. Even though there was an elevator to the third floor, there are still steps involved, which was not easy.

Would stay again!

We had a great 3 night stay at the Ellen! The front desk staff, breakfast staff and housekeeping staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and had many amenities. We do wish there had been a luggage rack in the room. (But I’m sure one would have been brought to us if I had asked : ) The breakfast and the breakfast space were fantastic!! This hotel and it’s location checked all the boxes for us.

Great stay

We stayed for one night as were in London for a show. Hotel prices in London are very pricey so when i found this "Compact" room for the price i was happy to book and in a very easy to get to location. The room was compact but they did what they could with the space and the bathroom was clean and modern with lovely hand wash and clean towels.

Gute Lage 5 Minuten zu Fuß zur u-Bahn Station und zum Supermarkt. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, der Aufzug auch. Man sollte körperlich fit sein um hier gut zurecht zu kommen.

最近、リニューアルしたのだろう、部屋はとても綺麗だった。シャワーの水圧も申し分は無いです。ただ、備え付けのシャンプーのボトルが目詰まりして出なかった。また、天井が高すぎる為か、エアコンの効きが良くないので、真冬は寒いかもしれません。駅に近いので、付近でちょっとした軽食、ビールは入手可能です。スタッフの方が先に翻訳アプリを使い対応してくれましたので、大変助かりました。次回も宿泊の候補にはなります。

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The room was small, but immaculate. The diffuser in the lobby smelled marvelous. We were close to shopping, restaurants, and pubs. We highly recommend the Ellen Kensington Hotel.

Opened for business 6 months ago. Some have given mediocre reviews but this is 5 star hotel. Not Claridges or the Dorchester but the rooms are superb in their quality. Fabulous breakfast. One lift was not operational which caused some guests distress. Would definitely stay here again.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut mit den Öffentlichenverkehrmitteln zu erreichen und man kommt von da überall hin. Das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend, könnte aber abwechslungsreicher gestaltet werden.

Decor was lovely but slot of maintenance needed doing . Our room was very small compaired to our friends thst stayed in same standard room. Our curtains wouldnt close fully, coffee machine was broken and was showing a fault and could just about get in the shower as poor door design , if you are above a size 16 you wouldnt get in without hurting yourself on the shelves

The receptionist tried to charge us again for a room I had already paid for. She then told me that breakfast was not included, it was. We checked in at 2.35pm and were told the room was not ready until 3pm. We were told to go away and come back later. we were then given a room in he basement which smelt of damp. We wont be going back to this hotel.
