The room we stayed in was nice and clean with all the amenities. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. Free parking and the fact that the property is short walking distance from Port Burwell is a huge plus as well.

Cozy little cabin-style stay with multiple rooms and common areas inside and out. We'll maintainedOutdoor patio with firepit, indoor kitchenette, cable and wifi. Very helpful and accommodating host. Very short stroll to local restaurants, cafes and attractions which are totally worth visiting.

Great location, no showers or ac in the room

The good: It's a great location if you plan to spend a night in Port Burwell. The fire pit was well stocked and was nice to sit around a fire in the evening. There were fresh towels and clean sheets. There was a large fridge freezer that you could put your stuff in, I was grateful for the ability to refreeze my freezer blocks for my cooler. The bad: The rooms have toilets and sinks, but no showers. To shower you have to use a communal bathroom. Not what I was expecting when booking a hotel room! There is no AC. I did find a window fan in a drawer but thankfully had received a welcome text from the property earlier in the day advising my room number (which was not the room I was given) and in the text it noted there was no AC so I picked up a fan at a shop on my way there. I hope business goes well for the property and they can invest in ac units for the summer. I would definitely not go here without ac in the summer.

Was pleasantly surprised by the room we rented. Room number 1. Had a private washroom, fridge everything we needed for a 2 night stay at the beach. The bed could be a queen to give 2 adults a little more room. We were grateful for the air conditioner and coffee machine. They supplied a couple bottles of water, some granola bars which help when heading to the beach. Would be nice to have a patio door to go outside from the room but it was just a short distance to front door. The common area was pleasant but very stuffy and and damp but was told they just cleaned up after flooding so I'm sure a dehumidifier will solve the issue. Close to beach, right beside a great restaurant, parking right out front. Would stay again in room 1. The gentleman who helped us get to our room was pleasant and very helpful. Everyone was friendly.

We stayed one night, room #1, room was clean and nicely organized. It was private bathroon, AC and TV in the room. Owner was very helpfull. Place is 5 minutes walking to the beach. We parked at the lodge and walked to the beach We had nice overnight stay.

Upon arrival the manager/owner was there and very helpful … that was probably the best part of our stay. We booked for two nights, the room smelled very musty and gross thankfully we had brought candles. The floors were very dirty I actually went and bought cleaner to clean them and some flip flops so we could walk on the floor and not get dirty. The bathroom had feces running down the front of the toilet which I cleaned up as well as on the garbage can … My boyfriend requires a wheel chair at times and could not use the washroom and we had to take his chair apart to even get it into the building. Definitely would not go back. The bird feeders outside the room and fire pit was the best part of our stay.

I stayed at Earthquest Lodge for 3 nights and it was an excellent choice! Quiet and clean and the host was very kind, accommodating all requests, like nightstand lamp, coffee maker, ground coffee (from the house, thank you for saving my mornings!). The room was clean, with new mattress, all amenities, quiet area, ideal for resting and peace. Everything is at walking distance, the beach, the dining places and most of all, the famous submarine! Thank you, Dave and wife and Tom, I will definitely return with my family!

This place is very unique. My room lacked toilet paper but that was handled promptly. My only real complaint was the bed. It is a long time since I slept on one so bad. The whole village is unique- straight out of the 50’s. I rather enjoyed it but next time I will bring my own mattress topper.

This is a very old and beat up property. There is no AC at all, no TV in the room and the we didn’t sleep all night due to heat and noise of the fans that we had turned to max with very little cooling effect. The owner and staff member were decent but can’t get over how horrible the property and the rooms are.
