The location is amazing. The proximity to the thames crossing and transportation was great. The staff was the worst I have ever encountered. Rude. Lies. Unlike other hostel properties, they have no kitchen, or way to fill a water bottle, which would be OK, if they didn't want to charge high end prices to use their vending machines. Everything is broken.

We showed up and the AC was out in half the hotel, the fans they gave us didn’t work, and the windows wouldn’t open all the way. They did end up moving us to a smaller room that had AC and we were very thankful for that! The hotel has potential, but needs work and upkeep. It’s pretty far from everything, even the underground. Although there is a bus stop across the street. Tesco express around the corner is helpful. The add did say laundry on site, but there was none. The neighborhood is quiet, feels safe. Just keep in mind, it takes a minimum of 35-40 minutes to travel into town to see any of the sites. Good for people on a budget with a large group, if you don’t mind the lack of amenities or want a spotless room, or don’t mind the long trip into town.

I stayed at this hotel for several nights, the room was clean and quiet, although it was cold (17 C) as I could not adjust the temperature by the thermostat. The location initially appeared to be difficult to get to as I had a long walk from the Metro (Overground). I later found that there is a bus route that stops by very close to the hotel, so I was able to use that which made it very convenient. The restaurant was large and spacious. The scenery is very good as it is located on the riverside which affords views of the office buildings across the river.

Convenient location, especially with the free ferry shuttle, good pubs couple of minutes walk away and another about 10 mins walk o the thames walkeay. Also, safe, nice and quiet with good views of Thames. Only unusual aspect was no glasses in bathroom. Also, bring own travel kettle and cups, tea and coffee, as not provided in rooms. I would definately stay here ne t time in London.
