The hotel is located on the river and the view was lovely. It is close to public transportation portals. Food options during the day were great but all the restaurants nearby closed really early (6 p.m.), even on the weekend. The staff was fabulous! The room was cold and I had much difficulty using the thermostat to regulate the room temperature. I would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

Hotel staff and welcoming and helpful. Cookie on arrival was a lovely surprise. Hotel is clean, our room was pretty basic but had everything we needed. We ate in the bar area and the menu was really good, staff in there are great too. Overall a good stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton London ExCeL and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting London. From the moment we arrived, the check-in experience was friendly, welcoming and incredibly efficient. The staff were professional and helpful, creating a great first impression. Our room was beautifully presented, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Everything felt well maintained, and the attention to detail made the stay particularly enjoyable. The breakfast was another highlight, with an excellent choice of options to suit different tastes. There was plenty of variety, and the quality was consistently very good. The hotel’s location is also fantastic, making it an ideal base for exploring London and getting around the city, while still offering a relaxed and comfortable environment away from the busiest areas. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish. Friendly staff, beautiful rooms, an excellent breakfast and a wonderful location - everything you could want from a London hotel. I would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel, I stayed before a couple of years ago and since then they have introduced a vegan (and allergy friendly) cookie which is good to see. There’s slightly less selection for vegan & gluten free diets at breakfast compared to two years ago, but still very good. The staff, especially the lady who worked on the breakfast hosting, were all so friendly and helpful. The aircon worked great and was a lovely relief from the heatwave. The lifts are very small, worked fine but if you’re a wheelchair user it could be an issue if you don’t have a basic manual chair. Bed was comfy and I slept well. If I needed to I would happily stay again.

This is a very convenient place if you are working a Tradeshow at the Excel, it’s only a five minute walk. It is clean and they do have a restaurant and a bar downstairs. We had a bit of a mixup at the bar downstairs with pricing of some of the drinks. Just be clear about what you want and what you are actually paying for it.

Great location for the Excel Conference Centre - lovely staff in all areas - I can only make one suggestion and that would be to move the mirror closer to the plug, as its really difficult to do your hair when the plug is so far away - plus a shelf would be good near to the mirror too. Apart from that - it was really good and would highly recommend.
