Very clean, easy walk to tube, friebdly staff.ideal if you need to be in that area. Decor a bit dated, but had everything you need.
Read the reviews and got instant regret booking it, until I went. All staff super friendly and helpful. Very clean everywhere and comfortable bed. Great location for what I needed and will be returning
We were visiting the area for a trade event, at Tobacco Dock, and the hotel was in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the venue was clean and comfortable. A great hotel and very good value, we will definitely be going back if we are staying in the are again.
Stayed two nights visiting London for a show, the hotel is a two minute walk from Shadwell DLR so very convenient.
Breakfast was fine each morning, something for everyone.
Amazing and the staff/manager was so helpful and lovely . The bed was comfortable and I slept soundly. The bathroom was lovely with a good size shower.
The hotel is very close to the train station making it easy to get into central London.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is in need of decoration but this is purely cosmetic and did not dampen our stay.
For the price and the location so close to tube station i found it easily worth my money.staff were friendly..helpful .the breakfast was simple but fed me well. I will be returning!
Our stay wasn’t terrible but I certainly wouldn’t be recommending this hotel to anyone. The best thing about it is the closeness to public transport.
Our room was in an awful state of disrepair. The ceilings show a history of leaks into the room and on our first day there was actually a leak coming through.
We also witnessed what looked like bed bugs.
The staff were friendly in the few dealings we had with them.
Enjoyed our stay with you. Very clean and pleasant stay, thank you Deidre

A place to book when everywhere else is full or ridiculously expensive. Functional low end hotel. Room was clean, water was hot, staff were helpful, breakfast was adequate. Pretty basic, small rooms. Not much going on in neighborhood.
What a lovely hotel with such welcoming and friendly staff! Excellent location being so close to the DLR and overground. Very quiet and well sound proofed inside. Had a great night’s sleep.
The room had lovely interiors and thought out decor - bed comfy, nice pillows and a powerful shower.
Breakfast was a nice addition and the filter coffee was sublime!
Only area can think of improvement would be an additional towel in the room and some more vegan options at breakfast, although there was enough for me to enjoy!
Thank you Dockside

You Pays Your Money, You Takes Your Choice
Given the price, the location was close to the areas I needed to be. If you are paying for a budget room, the condition will be passable at best. If I could not find any other hotels in this area I would stay again, but I will look elsewhere first.
The staff were so so friendly, nothing was too much to ask! Felt very safe here and close to the city centre without it being too busy! Definitely stay again and recommend!

The hotel was a little tired but we were made to feel welcome. The room was basic but clean, breakfast was a reasonable selection.
Reception was friendly, lady serving breakfast was really helpful and friendly too. Breakfast was nice with option of beans, egg and sausage available as part of the buffet style breakfast.
The location was really good. I had a friend staying in a more expensive hotel near St Paul's Cathedral but needed somewhere cheaper. Shadwell station was just around the corner, I got on there and off at Bank tube station (tube took 3:minutes) and then had a brisk 10 minute walk to St Paul's Cathedral.
For under £100 you will struggle to find better within such a short distance of central London. I loved it there and intend to return.
