Generally, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel -the room was spacious and well maintained, the hotel is near a tube stop, a number of good restaurants within walking distance. My only slight complaint is with the breakfast, which was good but not great, and could have varied a bit more from day-to-day.

The Clayton Hotel Chiswick is a lovely place to stay! We stayed for 2 nights in July. The room we had was very nice. It was air-conditioned which was welcome during the oppressive heat wave. Our room was a one bedroom with a desk, chair and additional seating area. The bathroom was quite opulent, with a beautiful soaking tub and separate shower! The hotel itself is a short 3 block walk to the Gunnersbury tube station. It's then a 30 minute ride into central London. The staff even let us check in early because we arrived on the red-eye flight from New York and were extremely jet lagged! All-in-all, it was great stay. We highly recommend it!

Only hitches were difficulties adjusting the heating system in the room on arrival, and not being directed to the designated breakfast area in the morning - so waited in the dining area! My husband and son stayed and they found it to be good quality, staff were very helpful and overall a reasonable price given the location. Would definitely recommend anyone willing to commute a little into London - this is a good place to rest your head!!
