Had two single rooms for a one nights stay. The rooms and beds were much bigger than I thought they would be from looking at the photos on the website. Perfectly adequate for a one night stop over, great location and easy to find food and taxi when needed. Excellent value for money in the middle of London, what more can you ask!

My regular London hotel!

I always enjoy staying at The Cheshire Hotel. I stay whenever I am in London and whilst it is being done up it doesn't look, but the staff are all lovely and it is in a superb location for getting around London. The rooms are nice and modern too. Even the tiny little issues that happen at any hotel are resolved super quickly.

Hotel was lovely, all the staff we came across were friendly. Room was really nice, only thing it was missing was a full length mirror. 3 women and one small bathroom mirror was a bit difficult!

Good for business

Good value for what it is. Staff are friendly. Hotel is tired looking but clean and functional. Avoid rooms on ground floor as they are very noisy and not well soundproofed so you can here reception and staff talking all night.

Room 307 has the best bed in the world. Bring ear plugs for the noisy streets but I for one love the city sounds. I opted for windows open. :)

Great location, comfortable hotel

Situated a stones throw from Tottenham Court Road underground and Oxford street, the location couldn't be any better for shopping as well as pubs, restaurants and nightlife plus theatres and Soho a short walk away. The hotel is being refurbed so no reception room but having seen other reviews I was prepared to not be wow'ed on arrival. Staff were friendly, the room was fine, the facilities good - daily housekeeping, and the iron and ironing board in the room came in handy. Would definitely stay again - just hope the price won't go up too much once the renovations are done.

This was a great location, we were able to walk to many places/restaurants and the places that were not a walkable distance there was a train/tube station near by which was very easy to use. The hotel room was extremally small we felt even by Europe standards. There wasn't really an area to put our bags down and still have space to walk in the room.

This place is your typical flea bag hotel. Nothing worth note outside of the location. Everything is quite dated and we had no functioning WiFi the entire stay. The biggest flub was on Expedia for only being willing to comp us $100 in 'Expedia Credit' Would never stay here again

It was nice and clean. Quiet for where it is. Shower was dangerous and difficult to figure out, very slippery and hard to shower without getting the whole room soaked. Wifi cut out on 2nd day then was spotty for the next 2 days.

Very Basic Budget Hotel in Center of London

Hotel is very basic with only the dire essentials. Bed was comfortable and room was decently clean. Bathroom lacks a counter or a clothes hook. There is no safe in the room. The property seems to have some renovations that have not been finished. I could see unfinished work in the hallways and lobby.

This is a you get what you pay for property unless you have to make a change to your reservation in which case you get charged majorly and you get much less than you pay for. WiFi rarely worked, hotel looked like it was under construction with no construction in progress.

Not worth the price

Hotel under construction. Needs lots of work. Expensive for what you get, which is practically nothing. Small cramped room. Shower wet the entire bathroom. Thank goodness it was just one night.

DO NOT STAY HERE!

This was the worst hotel room ive ever been to. So bad in fact i left after an hour. No Wifi,No AC and looked as if someone had already stayed in the room. The toilet wasnt attached to the wall there was a smell of oil and msg being blown directly into the room from the small window. Stains on the carpet and the walls and mould in the bathroom. I left an hour later and got no refund. Stay away from this place

The property has bedbugs. I tried to talk to front desk staff during my stay and was brushed off as ‘no manager was available’. When I had left I tried again to contact them after going to my GP and confirming the bites were that of bedbugs and when I called I was hung up on twice and once told that I was lying, dispute the fact I was pleasant and not asking for anything in return, simply letting them know of this issue. I would not recommend.
