I was looking for a place to stay within reach of the Royal College of Art's Battersea campus, and this seemed like a great choice. I originally needed to add an extra night to my reservation. While support at Expedia was very helpful, it wasn't possible to do so without cancelling my original booking. To avoid this, I booked the additional night directly with Charles Hope London. They were very accommodating and upgraded my stay to a Deluxe Studio at no extra charge, so I wouldn't have to change rooms between bookings. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had a modern feel. There are wonderful restaurants, grocery shops, and cafes within walking distance, and a Tube station just 10 minutes away (Battersea Power Station). Must try the Salad Project at the Battersea Power Station! I walked to the RCA through Battersea Park every morning — a wonderful way to start the day.

Lovely place, once you find it and check in!

Brand new building, lovely and clean and a fabulous stay, once I found it and got checked in that is. Building is called ‘Moda’ for those looking for it and you need to check in online before arrival but I received no word from the company. The man on the front desk was very helpful, but if he wasn’t there I would have been completely stuck!

Checkin process was horrendous. The online checkin system didn’t work, and I lost hours working through the Expedia chat system to finally get checked in. Once in the room, there was no soap (empty bottles) and the water didn’t work. The arrival instructions mentioned this may be the case and advised there would be instructions in the room to rectify this. There wasn’t, so I had to work it out with some trial and error and googling some mysterious water leak prevention hardware to eventually get it working. Would not recommend!

Not a good experience this time. The apartment was dirty, the tv didn’t work, washer was moldy, towels were missing… seems like everyone took the week off… very disappointed… Even after reaching out to customer service they never rectified all issues as they promised… emailed again and was ignored…
