Very close to Paddington. Very safe neighborhood. Breakfast worked well for an easy meal to start the day. They also have luggage storage and friendly staff Easy to navigate from Heathrow Airport. The hotel could use some updating but it is in central London. I would stay again .
The hotel was well kept, the 5 person room was perfect for our family with three kids, the air conditioning was wonderful, and the breakfast was tasty. The location near Hyde Park is wonderful for walking and exploring. I would definitely stay here again.
Staffvare friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also good. Though the guest room is neat and tidy, however it is not spacious. Informed by hotel staff, air-conditioning will be provided upon request.

Staff friendly and breakfast v pleasant. En-suite in 404 could do with some TLC. Similarly, fellow guests on 4th floor were so inconsiderate from 22:30 until 1am, I received no sleep during my stay. Hence, a little TLC on doors and notices reminding guests of typical curfews would be beneficial.
Sadly, based on how loud corridors were with guests coming and going, I’ll unlikely return due to fear of not sleeping again.
Property was very clean and comfortable. Great location. Front desk and kitchen staffs were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was super good. Overall excellent hotel and would highly recommend.
We stayed for a couple of night's and the hotel was excellent. We had a basement twin room, air conditioning. The free breakfast is also really good. The area is really nice close to Paddington Station. Plus Hyde Park is in walking distance.
Amazing staff and exceptional service.. will definitely be back for another stay..

Value for money
Staff were lovely, breakfast was lovely. Room was small but had everything we needed, maybe the bathroom could do with a refurb. Only issue I had was the noise but it was good value for money and great location
Hmmm. Where to start. The staff was very friendly and should not be blamed for the condition of the hotel. However, we booked a room with a double bed and a single. It had three small twin beds. And really they had no business putting three beds in that room. We had no place to put our bags. We had to step over them the whole time there. There was a lift but it only went to the third floor. The room was on the fourth floor. The ceiling was so low and slanted that our son, who is 5'10" hit his head at least ten times. There was a small open wardrobe but no drawers of any kind. There was also a general odd smell in the entire place as well. For the amount of money we spent, I would expect just a bit more.
On arrival I was asked by the foreign receptionist for my passport. I told him I have come from Ipswich so why would I have it on me? He kept asking for it and I kept saying I haven't got it. After a long time he (thankfully) just carried on with checking me in all of ONE night!
Breakfast was basic but fine and room was small but ok for one night.

Good staying
Small and reasonable hotel close to Paddington station. The mostly problem is that the Wifi is weak and intermittent, I had to give up attend remote meeting. The location is good, close to the station and Hyde Park, perfect, and the walk before breakfast was wonderful. The breakfast was better than I expected, the taste was good, and the staff's service was very good. Overall it was a good stay.
Me and my family was staying in for a week.Rooms clean, comfortable and cozy, breakfast EXCELLENT,so much choice for the breakfast.Stuff AMAZING,very friendly, respectful.Cleaning lady Mahima so sweet, lovely, respectful, with smile all the time, one big thanks to her and all other staff. I would highly recommend Brunel hotel, location is the best, close to transportation and shops as well. I would definitely stay in again!
Lovely breakfast and very good service. Two things: how about shower mats in the showers? Slippery. Also, how about a bar of soap and a wash cloth in the bathroom. The safe was a bit fussy.
Close to Paddington station, Paddington metro and Lancaster gate metro. Nice neighborhoods with good restaurants.
The room was tiny, but we only slept there so that was fine. One of the few hotels we looked at that had beds for three people. Comfortable beds. Nice staff, especially at the service desk, very helpful.
The breakfast was so-so. The elevator could only fit one person with luggage at a time. I can sleep through lots of noise, but if you can't it's good to know it's noisy outside and you can also hear people in the hallway.
Would stay here again.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Lovely location!
However, room bathroom was smelly, safety box did not work and there was no view from window. Due to these no more stars.
VERY small room for 3 people.staff was wonderful. We had an issue with the shower temperature and they fixed it while we were out. It was also very hot in the room, even with window open and ac on. I think there may have been an issue with it but we never addressed it with the staff. Their continental breakfast options could have been better. Waitstaff was always ready to help or get what you needed. They front desk staff was super helpful with sightseeing info, bookings, and transportation, even stored oir luggage on the last day so we could do a little shopping before leaving for the train.
Hotel staff were lovely and welcoming and the room was decent however there are mice. We were unable to sleep due to the mice and felt that it had ruined our stay. Due to this there was also a foul odour in our room which made it unpleasant and difficult for us to breathe.
