It’s good if you’re only planning on sleeping there. Walking distance to restaurants, the Tube and quiet area. But my room has no AC and it was the worst heatwave in London in a while. They provided a fan but the hot air was still bad. The window barely opened so I couldn’t get a breeze at night when it finally cooled down outside.

A basic but comfortable room. There was a TV, kettle and coffee maker in the room. We were on the fifth floor at the back the view was nice and not too close to other buildings of the same height. Perfectly located for visiting the local museums and parks and just strolling round taking in the culture. Staff were very helpful when there was an issue with the TV not working. I used the WhatsApp messaging service and they replied quickly.

I recently stayed at Bob W Kensington, and the property has the makings of a truly elegant boutique hotel. Its location in central London is excellent, with easy access to wonderful restaurants, shopping, and transportation routes, making it a very convenient base for exploring the city. That said, the property still seems to be in a transitional phase. Perhaps because it is a newly acquired location that has not yet been fully assimilated into the brand, several amenities and services advertised in the booking were not currently available during my stay. Additionally, while the staff were friendly and polite, they were quite scarce and often difficult to find when assistance was needed. With a bit more operational polish and the full rollout of its advertised offerings, the property has the potential to become a lovely boutique destination in Kensington.

The hotel is great, good location, amazing staff, but i was unlucky to book during the heatwave and the room i had was boiling hot. Unfortunately, there were no other rooms to choose from so I had to change the hotel. The staff was very helpful and assisted me to get a refund, i am very thankful. Would stay there at a cooler time (unless the hotel installs air conditioning)

Not possible to choose a room as it’s not allocated until the day you arrive. I wouldn’t normally go for a room on the ground floor, especially in the summer with no air conditioning, as have to sleep with the windows closed. Not fun when it’s 36C!

⭐️⭐️ 2/5 – Disappointing stay, wouldn’t recommend. Unfortunately, my recent stay at Bob W Kensington London was disappointing, with too many basic issues in the room. Plug sockets next to the bed didn’t work, which was frustrating when trying to charge devices overnight. The bedside light couldn’t be moved or adjusted, and the safe had no batteries, meaning I was unable to use it to store my valuables securely. Poor. The biggest issue was the temperature of the room. It was incredibly hot and uncomfortable, making it difficult to relax and get a decent night’s sleep. I appreciate that things can occasionally go wrong, but having multiple basic facilities unavailable during the stay really affected my experience. These are issues that should ideally be checked and resolved before a guest arrives. Overall, I’d give the stay 2/5. The room had potential, but the number of basic issues made the experience far less comfortable than it should have been.
