This is the second time we have stayed here having stayed last year when visiting London. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The rooms have tea and coffee and are comfortable. Hotel is in a great location. Breakfast is very good.

Calling this a 4-star hotel is misleading. Based on the condition and overall appearance, I would give it no more than 1 star. The room was very basic and, as described, quite tiny, but it was surprisingly clean. The location directly beside the British Museum was the main reason we booked, and that was certainly a major advantage. Check-in and check-out were simple and hassle-free. Overall, clients would probably leave much fairer reviews if the property were not presented as a 4-star hotel. The experience itself was acceptable for a basic, well-located room, but the 4-star rating sets expectations that the property does not meet.

Excellent location and a good price. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was well tended by the staff, but with limited options. Our room was up four flights of narrow stairs, but very quiet.
