A well-located very smart apartment. We were greeted by the host on time. They were very friendly. The apartment is so clean and modern. Powerful shower and comfortable king size bed. The kitchen was well equipped and the aircon was the perfect addition. The location of the property is incredible. A 2 min walk from the Natural History Museum and 5mins from South Kensington tube. We would not hesitate to book this apartment again. Thank you for the great stay.

The lift/elevator did not work, requiring us to climb 4 flights of stairs with our suitcases. We we're advised to call 30 minutes ahead so someone could meet us there to let us in, which we did, however no one was there to meet us. We were also provided conflicting information by email sending us access codes, but those did not get us into the room either. We had to wait around for someone to bring us a key finally. The washer dryer combo was hard to use and didn't work well. No instructions were provided. And the TV did not work at all. The room itself was nice, the neighborhood was nice, and the staff was very nice.

The location can't be beat. We had some miscommunication about the check in time. We were told anytime after 3 and we had said we'd be there around 6. When we arrived at 5pm, the room was not yet cleaned. It was cleaned in a hurry, so I'm not sure how thoroughly it was cleaned. The room was fine but the beds were very lumpy. The laundry machine was not very clean. It was ok, not great.

Communication was excellent. I was contacted prior to arrival and communication was constant right up to the day of our stay. Check in and out was simple and we were greeted by a member of staff on our arrival at the property. They were still in the process of having a quick hoover when we arrived but that didn't bother us and they were very polite about it. The property was great and has all the amenities. It very much added to our time in London.

Fab pent house stay.

The place was perfect for what we needed. Perfect location for museums and we ate in the area too. The communication was easy and promt. The little outside space was super for a little supper at the end of busy days. Free wifi was usful to plan the next days activities. Tube station was close. The whole place was clean and all in working order. Sofa bed was comfy enough. Air con was welcome in august. Lift was slow but worked fine and great for my parents. Thank you. Would stay again.

Overall we had a really great stay at the South Kensington apartments. The unit itself is beautiful and clean. Bathroom is quite tight but did the job, the shower head was unstable and led to a mess every use, a quick toolbox fix could help. Pull out bed was quite stiff, not sure it would be sleepable for more than a few days. A new matttress would make a big difference. Our check-in experience was not smooth and left us outside for ~40 min waiting to check in when in the end it could have been a simple email instruction. I would encouraged the management group to offer self-check in during later hours as it would be very doable. This location is great, on a beautiful quaint street. Felt like a very safe location which is always very important as a traveller. Unfortunately the tube strike was happening during our stay so I can't speak to the convenience that the tube may have offered but even without it, this still felt like a central enough location. I would visit these apartments again.

Arrived late at night for a 4 night stay… apartment 5 that we booked was occupied so we were shown into another apartment and there was water pouring through the ceiling from the apartment upstairs. No other rooms available in this property or their others so had no choice but to stay. Was told their maintenance team knew about the problem but were on vacation! Promised us that night would be refunded. Promised us the leak would be fixed first thing in the morning. No-one turned up… the water leak had damaged the lights so they weren’t working (it’s v dark in the basement apartment) so I was struggling to work. The leak then must have tripped the fire alarm because that started going off and the cleaner (only person at the property) couldn’t turn it off. I’m now trying to work with a fire alarm blaring. Maintenance eventually arrived after lunch after me chasing people many times on the phone. They did not fix the leak, but fixed the fire alarm by ripping it out of the ceiling. Long story short… leak was not fixed and they moved us to a vacant apartment for our last night, so 3 days/nights with water flowing into the kitchen/towels everywhere/no lights working/little to no communication or help with cleaning up the water. After a lot of phone calls they eventually agreed to 50% compensation (despite 75% of our nights in a barely habitable apartment) yet this refund still hasn’t been paid a week after leaving. Worst experience I’ve ever had staying anywhere
