Pleasant Stay and location is central

We stayed at Hotel Santika for two nights. As a stop station after a long holiday in Gili islands, our stay at the hotel was perfect. For our family (with kids) we stayed in 2 superior rooms. Overall it was a pleasant stay. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is also perfect with a lot of traditional foods. What is quite remarkable for us was the dinner with live accoustic music...very relaxing. Thank you , we would definetely come back again.

Comfortable stay.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and really enjoyed our stay here. The beds were super comfy, the rooms are just right for a couple with an infant. The hotel breakfast was good. Location is pretty good too as there is a night market just across the road. Would come back!

The room feel dirty, esp the bed. I couldnt sleep.

The bed uncomfortable, felt dirty and not clean. The room very average, i dont think the staff clean the room very well. The toilet smell. No minibar and refrigerator. But the location is good.

Good location, friendly staff, but very noisy

We were given room 209 which is facing the street and the park opposite the hotel and we cant sleep, the noise of the motorbikes with very loud exhaust was the nightmare, the noise from all kinds of activities at the park is unbearable. Otherwise, staffs are friendly even though they are not knowledgeable about what surrounding shops are selling so we ended up doing "city tour" in a taxi to find it. Will we stay again? May be not just for the fact that it was too noisy for us.

Mixed feelings

We first extended our stay because it was such a great place, and we loved our first day there. However, on the second night the dinner was of poor quality, and did not even get full on the pricey dish served. Unfortunantely did not manage to locate any alternative options in the area, even though we asked various staff for restaurant tips. Also recommend to wait with your dry-cleaning; sent my polyester/silk short for dry-cleaning; they did not remove the stain in the front but treated the back with too much heat, destroying the fabric. Location-wise not too bad, but the nice beaches, such as Mawun and Kuta is a two hour drive away. Same with other main turist attraction. Hotel offer drivers, expect to pay 600'-1000' for a day rental with driver.

Fun family trip

We stayed for five nights. Overall the hotel is worth the money. The breakfast menu could be better with regular menu rotation,other wise after three days, you are not looking forward for your breakfast. The swimming pool was good. Easy acces for those on wheelchair.

This is a very nice "mini" luxury hotel

Had a very nice 2 day stay at the Hotel Santika in Mataram. I'm going to mention the location first....it is 10 blocks every direction from anything but office and government buildings. So definitely not a place you walk out the door from looking for a restaurant or a store. I gave it 4 out 5 stars only because of the location. Otherwise it was a great hotel and excellent value. The room was definitely a great place to sleep, very comfortable. There is a small air conditioned weight room and a small outdoor pool which was nice. Lobby and common areas were good. And they also have an excellent breakfast buffet which I enjoyed very much. If you have a car or are taking taxis everywhere (nobody seems to walk in Indonesia anyways) this is an excellent choice if you need to stay in Mataram.

Excellent service

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. You get a nice welcome drink on arrival. Definitely include breakfast as it is amazing - the choice of food exceeded expectations.
