“Perfect for a one night stay, comfortable and clean room and easy parking. Limited menu for evening meal but reasonably priced and tasty. It seemed a little odd not offering a breakfast but was not a problem for us as we went elsewhere. Would stay again if travelling to Scotland.”

“Todo bien”

“A great location with Lovely staff:)”

“Beautiful property and lovely staff. Room was comfy with all necessary amenities. The breakfast was very good and the pub was great!”

“Fantastic wholesome stay, with extremely welcoming and friendly staff”

The shower was good & easy to use. The lady who greeted us was very helpful & friendly especially as we forgot to take our key out with us & had to ask her to let us in to our room. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for her. There was a good choice for breakfast which was cooked to order”

In our case, check in was done without the owner being onsite. He texted us the access codes. The bus stop for Carlisle was opposite the front door. We stayed one...

“A very clean and well equipped room - limited parking but perfectly adequate - disappointing lack of breakfast - rice crispies and cormflakes don't do it! Very good dinner and bar facilities”
