I thought there was a wedding function going on as every now and then loud music would blast through the restaurant area but it was just the music coming from the kitchen area as the doors swung open and closed. “Nice to return to an interesting hotel in a lovely spot. Condition of property mixed, maybe deteriorated since we last visited. But so have other aspects. Restaurant disappointing; unnecessarily complex menu, over ambitious & over priced but food disappointing/mediocre. Staff friendly but gave impression of constant sell of add-ons. Breakfast the worst Iv had in 30+ hotels over the last 18 months. Dreary, uninteresting unappetising food with extra charge item available also not an inspiring...
