“We had a lovely stay and the place was gorgeous… restaurant food needs an upgrade as breakfast was rather basic”

“We stayed at the Kames while exploring the area which is so beautiful. The hotel is ideally situated in an idyllic setting. The food was superb, especially the homemade steak pie! The Scottish Breakfast is the best we've tasted. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“We had the most incredible stay at Darren and Karen's charming cottage in Scotland. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. “Staff lovely, breakfast delicious, location - superb view. Parking easy. Pretty walks.”

“Expedia does not tell you they don’t answer phone calls from foreign numbers & they have no front desk/ staff on site so only way to communicate is thru Expedia. I couldn’t get continental breakfast because Expedia blocks emails & they couldn’t send me payment link. No food or beverage available on site or within walking distance. Food delivery was lame, cash only & no utensils. Decent shower, bed & wifi”

“Comfortable bed, lovely towels, great breakfast, wonderful hosts. Nice view of loch from breakfast room.”
