The hotel is beautiful. It was renovated about 5 years ago but it is still fully carpeted, which wasn’t the best. Also, our room was on the top floor and did not have a functioning window. The room was extremely hot and no a/c.

Beautiful place to stay with outside terrace and bar. The spa was lovely, although the pool a little cold The bar and terrace was closed the second night we were there for a private function, disappointed we wouldn’t use it and no other provision was made for residents to have a drink. There is a large restaurant area and some of this could have been used.

Excellent overall stay but no soap in reception ladies toilet. Also no soap in room bathroom although there were 2 hand lotion bottles, (possible misunderstanding).

Good hotel in lovely town.

2 night stay. Loches is a wonderful town. Hotel is very clean and front desk service excellent. Room was very clean and well equipped. Did not have breakfast but did have evening meals in the restaurant. Food very good if a bit pricey. Only 4 stars as service on last night in bar and restaurant was very slow and staff were seemingly disorganised. Rooms pricey as not including breakfast but a good base to stay.

The hotel is lovely. In a perfect setting. Very let down by its breakfast. Nothing was available. We waited for 20 minutes before giving up. The restaurant in the evening is nice but they could do with some other dinning options as very upper tier food perhaps offer a bar menu

Great location in the centre of Loches. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. We had a "Standard Room, queen bed" which transpired to be on the 2nd floor under the roof. Things to Note: 1. There may not be a fridge in the room (ours was too small to allow, but cant tell if this was true for all rooms). 2. You may be allocated a room on 2nd floor which is under the roof and may contain interesting wood beams but will only have a velux window and no view. 3. The Parking offered is in the public square outside the hotel. Spaces are free but cannot be guaranteed.

Wonderful hotel in restored historic building

Magnificent sympathetically recently restored former Palais de Justice insuperb setting in the beautiful historic city of Loches. The room, the breakfast and particularly the staff were of the highest quality. The only negative was the evening meal. A very limited menu, with main course comprising a tiny parcel of pork with 3 different types of courgette!! Not the most interesting vegetable and cooking it three different ways did not inmo improve this. In addition, the wine was poorly served, again inmo! I ordered a Vouvray to start with and a Chirouble to accompany the main course. I had not finished the white wine when the wine waiter (manager?) poured the red wine into the same glass! even though there was white wine unfinished. A disappointing meal but this did not detract from our stay in this most impressive hotel. Word of advice, we would recommend L’Entract and The Hotel de France for diner.- both excellent

endroit magnifique mais personnel à revoir...

Très bon accueil du veilleur de nuit car arrivée tardive. hotel majestueux et très belle déco. Petit déjeuner copieux, avec du choix. Par contre le personnel n'était pas à la hauteur du lieu. Les serveurs se prenaient les remarques désobligeantes de leur hiérarchie devant les clients et quand avons quitté l'hotel la réceptionniste nous a signalé que nous devions un supplément de 25€ pour notre petit chien (Jack Russel_8kg) alors que son collègue la veille nous avez demandé de réglé notre séjour complet pour que le check out se fasse rapidement. Je m'étais assuré à la réservation que l'établissement accepté les animaux et je n'ai pas vu de prix donc quelle a été ma surprise de payer une telle somme. La réceptionniste nous a dis "mon collègue n'a pas bien fait son travail" en omettant de compter notre chien. Ces incidents ont gachés notre plaisir d'être dans un lieu si magnifique. Dommage car cela ne nous a donné aucune envie de revenir. Pour info, je fréquente dans le cadre professionnel la chaine Best western en France et à l'étranger.

A great hotel situated in the very center of the town.The location is ideal to all shops and restaurants. Local market that takes place on Wednesday and Saturday!

Great property in a very convenient square close to town centre. Free parking at front of property. Lovely terrace to have both breakfast and dinner. Wonderful choice for breakfast to suit all tastes. Dinner was ok, starters delicious but both mains were lacking. Lamb was chewy and fish overcooked and lacked seasoning. Good wine list. Staff very friendly and helpful with good sense of humour. Would definitely stay again.
