Everything was amazing and as described. They even greeted me with a face towel and tea. But the food at the restaurant was so bland and terrible I’ve never been more dissatisfied. Spicy dishes weren’t spicy. Everything was basically unseasoned. Drinks were good.

No AC and lots of lizards and flies. The concept is close to nature. So these are side effects of it. We love the area near river. Beautiful decor. Friendly staff

Such a charming place

Maybe the cutest hotel in all of bohol. The place looks very nice, is clean and comfortable. We had a suite with rice paddy view. The room was nice and the staff extremely friendly. There was even a guy trying to greet everybody in their home language. They really did a good job on knowing their guests.

It's in the Little Details!!

This place in wonderful. It's in the little details. So many small things are included that make your stay hassle free and special. The cottages are beautiful and comfortable and it's just a peaceful experience beside the Loboc River. The outdoor bathrooms are really nice, and the staff are very helpful!!

Amazing stay. The property immerses you in the Filipino countryside surrounded by the Loboc River and rice paddys on the other side. The cottages provide everything you need with nice outdoor terraces depending on your cottage. The outdoor showers were also a unique touch. The food and service we received at the fox and firefly were exceptional - GM the multilinguist waiter treats each guest with a lot of attention and care. The food was so good ! Our favorites were the papaya salad, coconut chicken, and the jackfruit French toast in the mornings - just talking about it now makes me miss it. Noteworthy as well, were The massage therapists - one of the best massages I’ve ever received. We did not have the chance to try but they have a big elevated yoga “studio?” that probably attracts the majority of their guests. The excursions arranged by them were reasonably priced and memorable! We did so much in our short stay. Overall, fox and the firefly is a lovely little countryside oasis with a great staff, food, and proximity to great activities.

I absolutely loved this accommodation, and my stay on the river. They took care of every need. It was an absolutely fantastic location and easy to get to the Chocolate Hills and beyond! I highly recommend Fox and The Firefly The only suggestion I have is a small mirror in each hut, that way you don't have to monopolize the shared bathroom.

Magical place to unwind in Loboc

What a gem in Loboc! Gorgeous place in beautiful surroundings. Easy to rent a scooter to explore the area. Love the outdoor shower and glad there were mosquito nets provided over the beds. The restaurant was excellent and they probably had the best coffee in the Philippines! We also did the stand up paddle tour by night to watch fireflies, amazing experience!

Great place

Very nice place in a rural set up with a little river front area. The food was excellent. They also offer great SUP tours. The rooms are nice and very clean. However, they do not have bed side table lamps, which could be improved.
