“All the staff I came across had a lovely helpful attitude. The room was basic, but that was what I paid for. Every where was clean. They have added double glazing inside the sash windows so although room was on the main high street it was super quiet - had a great night's sleep. Didn't have breakfast, but did have an evening meal which was OK nothing special.”

“We received a warm welcome from the host, with drinks served in the garden on arrival. Our room was very comfortable and well presented to a high standard. Breakfast on both days had a wide choice and was delicious with friendly service throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this country house hotel to anyone staying in this lovely part of Wales.”

“Lovely stay in an old quaint farm house. The room was small with two single beds (not our preference but it is what was available). The private bathroom was modern and very nice. Nigel and his wife are delightful and intelligent. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. It is a bit hard to find off a high speed road but relaxing and quiet once you get there. The donkeys are adorable! We would highly recommend a stay there.”

“We really enjoyed our stay in an old mansion. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was clean, spacious and warm. We could hear the door closing in the corridor a few times but it did not disturb our sleep. Breakfast was perfect. We would recommend a stay at this hotel.”

“An amazing place - right location near the mountains and valleys, spic, interior full of character as per the inn name, cheerful staff, good size rooms with amenities, tea and coffee with milk (not milk powder), a shower with superb spray force and priced perfectly. Whether you are a solo traveller or family, it's highly recommended if you are in Sennybridge.”

“Perfectly fine for my needs, a one night stop over for cycling. Well situated for some excellent quite lanes, with tough climbs. The food the night before was tasty enough, and the beer was very well kept. Very friendly staff. I was even able to take a shower after my ride, even though it went beyond the check out time. Comfy bed. Shower was nice and warm, even though it was a bit leaky. Room was a bit tired, but like I said, I wasn't after 5 star, and for the price it was perfectly fine.”
